Can hardly blame him for that, the game was already lost. Can was awful I have to say... only Coutinho stepped up today. We screamed out for a Cazorla
Kash take it were not going to see you on out board for a while now.

Coutinho looked creative whenever he got it but he didn't exactly have much to work with

Hardly got the ball, when he did he looked dangerous.
Should I have strir fry or Malaysian curry for dinner with some spice wum dun bad?
You can't argue the fact he's lost alot of big games but 1 more season is fine by me. He's earned that at least but his big game record inc ALL games in Europe is extremely poor. Players just didn't turn up today. Well done Villa
enjoy the weekend guys ... it is becoming a routine for we liverpool fans
Thought Coutinho was the type of player that liked to drop deep and make thins happen?
We were beaten by a team that wanted it far more than us. There was little if any co-ordination, Raheem was anonymous as was the forward line, they were starved of supply. StevieG just wasn't at the races.
Technically, LFC were better than Villa, but the just wouldn't let us play out game. They were heavy in the tackle, they harassed, they harried. The team just weren't allowed to get into any form of rythm at all, and that's full marks to them.
I thought that both Lovren and Skrtel played well, but against a monster. Grealish was my MOTM.
Time to move on. Thoughts of Brendan being given the bullet are naive in the extreme.

As soon as Skrtel, Lovren or whoever plays against a big strong lad they $hit themselves and give up 20 yards of the pitch. The pressing game then disappears as a result. Add a lazy Gerrard in the mix and the effective pressing is just history. No wonder everyone then has a poor game, especially the midfield. There is too much pitch to cover effectively. Fellaini bossed it the other week and Benteke does it regularly against us. Crap.
"it was nothing but suarez show the last season which was saving BR's ass "
we did win nearly every match Suarez missed
Studge saved BRs ass then
we did win nearly every match Suarez missed
Studge saved BRs ass then
------------------------------
You know that we would not have been runners up the last season if suarez would have not been there for us ....... i am not a notorious critic of BR, but somehow he is less qualified in all aspects to be a LFC manager
before we signed Studge, Suarez was is great form and we finished well outside the top for
last season was SAS (arguably SASAS) and Suarez went off of the boil from Feb to the end of the season anyway
so if you want to call it the Suarez show, fine. It just comes off as wummish because it ignores just how well we did when he was out or off form.
Suarez may not have been banging the goals but after Feb but he was still displaying 8 out of 10 performances. He was a constant menace by creating chances, ball retention and also knowing the opposition had earmarked him as the threat which meant at times he had 2 players in close proximity.
That played into Sturridge and Sterling who benefitted from this space but this season in most games they have been marked out of the game.
Sturridge has been well marked out of every game this season.
It's like he didn't even play for us.
