Was at the game, well played you deserved it, great energy and commitment and your fans were outstanding.

I'm a very disappointed man waiting in Heathrow for a flight to Dublin, won't be home till about one am and work in the morning and can't drink cause I have to drive home when I land.

Well done the villa

did villa sell out their allocation? makes a change….

why don't those fans show up at villa park?

The nightmare is over. We're still not safe, but I'm confident we will be. This is what the fans want to see; positive attacking football. All of a sudden, the future looks bright.

wait til next season once the new manager bounce wears off.

now you are just seeing what we saw at spurs, sherwood took off the handbrakes.

next season the car will free fall down the hill into the lake that is the championship

Just got back from the game. The day was immense, fans players, staff everyone connected to our wonderful club can be proud.

has anyone addressed my point yet?

villa had no trouble selling out for the semi final but villa park cannot get a sell out to save its life…

fair-weather fans?

Chronic .. This is OUR day .. To come on here with mindless comments that none of us care about listening too is pretty sad on your half .. Concentrate on the supposed saviour in POCH and post on your own team's page .. Whatever you think about Sherwood is your opinion, he got it spot on today and has done for the most part so far !!!

yeah you deserved to win.

am not spoiling your day (it would be quite sad if a random spurs fan could spoil a day when you get to a cup final), but my point remains valid

It's a pathetic point .. Sherwood did nothing wrong at spurs, he took the job for the remainder of the season and had a good win percentage. The fact is Levy got rid and now you have POCH who most would admit has hardly improved spurs. Spurs fans are quick to jump on Sherwood's back but with a pre season with you and a sound youth set up at spurs he might have done a good job this season. We will never know but most Villa fans will tell you what a difference he is compared to Lambert's abject style of play.

lol that chronic guy couldn't be any more salty. I don't think Sherwood even did anything wrong at spurs to suggest Sherwood "took off the handbrakes"... deep down I know he misses Sherwood. Its just his way of making himself feel like spurs did the right thing getting rid... truth is Sherwood was doing a fine job when he got sacked.

Well deserved and what a turnaround from a couple of months back. Gunners will be tough in the final, but if we play like we did today there's no reason we can't get a result.

And to the bitter Spurs fan who's obsessed with the Villa despite getting your own yard stomped, if you can't figure out why more people would go to an FA cup semi final than a league game during yet another relagation-threatened season under Learner, you're either looking for an argument or you're stupid. Or both. Reply if you want with some kind of snarky comeback but it won't be read by me - I only come on here every month or so, making it a waste of your (clearly precious) time.

Well played Villa.

There is some real quality in your team and I never knew why Lambert was so hopeless at using it.

Ignore that Spds muppet banging on about "his point" and enjoy your day!

I dont think you'll have a hope against Arsenal but it'd be great if I was wrong and you beat them!!!

We never had a Hope in the league cup 2011 vs aarse and look what happened...
Whatever you do please record a decent song and do NOT bring back 'championees' as your fa cup song unless it is done tongue in cheek this time!

Chronic,
This has got to be one of the naffest t-shirts ever [see below] - on a par-of-naffness with Vile's "championees" song...[please! look it up on youtube]...
However, in view of your celebration at your neighbour's demise in 2011, I hope you enjoy it [and even purchase though you'd have to be a very, very, very brave man...]:
