I'd be more worried about the pitch. Haven't read the article, but if it's more than a couple of times a season, that's going to wreck the pitch.
Well, it might do, but I guess they're only actually playing for about 30% of the time.
gonna be a nightmare cleaning up all the hot dog buns
gonna need extra big seats for all them fatyanks
I suspect that if we did share with an NFL team we'd have some sort of removeable pitch. so a plastic pitch could be used for Am footy and concerts etc
This goes back to the Olympic Stadium bid, most likely true.
I think it is a good move for Spurs. It is not as if you were very successful at association football, so a move to the American Football league may bring a bit more success.

I would give this wum attempt about a 3/10
It's a promising idea if Tottenham manage to bring a couple games of NFL to the new stadium.
The groundsman shouldn't have a problem with the pitch with only a few games maximum in a year. The pitches are usually better maintained compared to Rugby and their scrum digging.
A few extra million a year will help with Adebayor's wages. But more importantly it will put a spotlight on the club and potentially increase the fan base in the United States.
The other point to remember is Naming Rights, if we attract NFL Football it is more likely that someone like Nike (who have been rumoured) would want to have their name on the stadium & possibly on our shirts too?
Interesting that the article says that the new stadium will be 61k. Music to my ears as I've always felt it should be bigger than the Emirates.
If Diana Ross is replacing Adebayore, then I've had it with Levy and Baldini

agree. we wont fill 61k every week... at the moment.. but who knows what will happen in the future.
I think we should go for Wembley in the short term, it means that the club has not moved to far away from its roots & also it will hopefully attract more fans to attend.
Moving to MKStadium, which is only a few miles away from me, might be okay for some. However it will only hold at most 32,000 & therefore even less fans would get to games.
My only reservation vis a vie Wembley is how do we manage with the stadium with only around 50,000 when it holds 90,000?

I think our gates would be surprisingly healthy at Wembley as lots of people (Spurs fans or not) would love to be able to just turn up and watch a Prem game in London. Big novelty factor as well as its only 1 season. Europa Cup nights could pose a problem though, maybe we could play them at Barnet?
wouldn't wanna play at Wembley at all.
opposition teams would definitely raise their game even more, and the stadium would be half full...
I suppose could shut off the whole very upper tier.
but atmosphere would be awful.

As a one off season I would love it.
Our home record wouldn't be any worse than this campaign.

Of course I can't know but its a fair guess that we won't drop points against Stoke, WBA, Toon, Villa, Palace and West Ham as its pretty tragic.
Anyway you are always moaning about the atmosphere at WHL. Imagine 90k against Chelsea, Arsenal, Utd or Liverpool it would be superb!
