I wonder if Hound booked his Wembley hotel for May 24th?

On the bright side, DickOff will see it as his highest ever finish as a manager. Maybe he'll think he's too good for us now and want to leave for grasses greener.

What a gawd awful, and boring, season! No wonder the participants on 606 have dropped-off as it gets a little frustrating criticizing ineptitude when there is little else to say.

At the end of last season I thought PD should have been out the door, but after the botched take-over I thought he should be given a chance. Then when it all seemed to be going well after Christmas, I thought it was worth staying with him. What happens to him when we get to March? Last year we looked safe, and this year we were sixth!

The embarrassment is if we lose to Scunnie, we’ll finish below them and the Dingles!

It looks as though the Millers will just hold on to Championship status despite the 3 point reduction. Millwall’s defeat mid-week and the Millers last gasp equalizer today against promotion chasing Norwich certainly helped. As a long time friend is a supporter, I’d like to see them come down – but do not tell her that!

Poor Tranmere after being near the top of League One at Christmas when we won League One are now destined for the Conference. Bristol Rovers, although winning 7-0 today just missed auto-promotion straight back to the League, and I hope they win the play-offs (my youngest nephew lives in Bristol).

PD talks about not rushing our “youngsters”. Luke Shaw, a product of the Saints’ St. Mary’s Academy is only 19 and is playing for Man U and England! Maybe ours are not the “stars of the future”.

Despite all this frustration, I’ll still be following the Rovers closely from 5000+ miles away. Let’s hope some of our lost “friends” rejoin 606!

From the Left Coast, I wish all of you a very happy off-season, and especially to NY in Wisconsin, I hope things keep going well for you.

Thanks a lot Mickey, I hope you and Pauline are enjoying your retirement. I intend to get stronger and stronger so that by the start of next season I am as I was before.

That is my aim and I hope to pull it off.
