What about the two stonewall penalties we were denied?
theres always what ifs in football games... overall villa deserved something out of the game. Man city were one of the poorest teams ive seen villa play from the top 4 this season. not a good team at all
We were terrible yet 3 points and that's all that matters
Playing like we have in the last few games without the howlers you would hope we stay up and certainly don't have to go to the wire.
I agree that the Newcastle game was one that got away in particular.
You have to take it that decisions will go for and against but that one yesterday was vital and cost me £66 if Benteke had scored from the Pen!
I actually enjoy watching Villa again even if its a rollercoaster.
We need to survive and be able to build and i then I think we could be good to watch and stay away from Relegation Scraps.
But it is still a BIG IF.

if you go down i will be upset that you will be sad
I will be devastated
We battered City but mistakes were hideous and basic
We do need other teams as well as ourselves to help us out sadly.
LQ - I agree with you that City had two good shouts for penalties. Bacuna's tug in the box should have been given and Okore's tackle was 50;50, depending on interpretation.
There's a bigger issue that is ruining the game in my opinion. That is that both would always be given as a foul, if they had taken place in the middle of the pitch. How many times are pulls, tugs and blocks allowed to go unpunished in the penalty area? If referees started giving penalties, we may see six or seven every game for a couple of weeks but I guarantee by week three, this problem would disappear.
Either of those incidents would have been fouls outside the box I agree.

Villa are no longer in control of their own destiny. LOL!

WE WILL SURVIVE
We are Villa. We don't do relegation. OK, things are a bit tight tight. But we have to win just one of the next 3 games to almost certainly stay up. And if we don't there's always Burnley to crush.
The lads are now going out with an appetite for winning, not a fear of losing. MC was disappointing (although when we were 2-0 down I'd have just taken it, it was nearly winning it which sticks in the gut). We may get more disappointments. But the way we are playing I'd back us to get that necessary win, minimum.
You won't get relegated there's worse teams.
