Isn't Jovetic injury prone?

posted on 26/4/15

Yes milner Def no to jovetic

Both would improve us.

Milner will put in decent shifts and will be composed, the younger players will look upto him.

Jovetic is a good striker - do we want a Sturridge II on our hands?

We still need a player with magic.

I like Jovetic as a player but he does pick up a few injuries which could be a problem.

Would like to see us go for Milner as he has experience and is versatile.

Milner is a very underrated player. In fact that type of player used to make up the bulk of Liverpool signings.

I don't think we could afford to gamble on Jovetic purely for his dreadful injury record. We already have one of those.

As long as Milner isn't Gerrard's replacement I don't mind him.

Jovetic no thanks. We don't need another sick note

No way Jovetic, always injured and isn't a striker.

Yes please Milner.

I'd defo take Milner as we lack experience and he's a very good footballer, can take a good dead ball too.

On the Striker I think we need to make a bigger statment, eve if it's costs us allot we need a proper 20 goal a season striker who will immediatley improve us in that area.

Milner is really underrated which is unusual since usually if you are English u get over hyped by the press. He will be a great addition to the team. Also seems a good pro so good for the young players to look up to

Jovetic has only scored more than 15 goals once in his career and that was in Serbia.

Good footballer, just not what we require.

Be happy with them. Underated players and i believe we were in for jovetic before, very good player just not given a chance at city. Bit like salah at cfc, very good player given no chance really.

Jovetic has had chances though, he is just always injured.

You mean players like Houghton, Nicol, Whelan, McMahon etc?

Then he's welcome!

How is Milner underrated? Seems everyone says the same thing suggesting he is rated, it's almost become a cliche now.

I can see the milner deal happening. He is already in the nw and probably knows hendo, sterling and ibe from the England set up, plus he is probably aware of how big we are unlike some foreign players

posted on 26/4/15

How would he know Ibe?

posted on 26/4/15

Milner might also get the contract extension he desires from City

posted on 26/4/15

jovetic would be perfect addition as he is extremely skill ful .... i don't whats wrong with people who are wanting milner more than him

posted on 26/4/15

I would have thought City would want to keep him coz of the homegrown player rule coming in?! If not then I'd take him on a free

I think that they do want to keep him and have offered him a contract extension but the player is looking to move.

A midfield diamond of:

Can/Lucas
Ibe /Milner Hendo/Allen
Couthino/Sterling

Would work. All interchangeable And fluid movement. Downside is none of them at present moment score goals on a regular basis. I.E. Do you think they can score 15-20 league goals a year? Sterling and Couthino perhaps?

Depends on the type of new striker(s) we get. If the new striker(s) can bring midfielders into goal scoring opportunities - then we'll see much more goals from midfield.

Maybe because we'd get more than ten games a season from Milner

id take a punt on jovetic, but only if he was available for say 12m at the most and as long as he wasnt our biggest signing in that area, a potential striker force of say him, ings, sturridge origi and one other would be good to have, but i dont think we would sign both jovetic and a highuain sort of level of striker

milner would be a very good signing on a free
