It's quite hilarious seeing United fans call us boring, apart from a few games in the past month they have played crap, turgid football all season, makes our team of 10/11 look free flowing.
Haha Kings very true. Not sure they're aware of the concept of irony in those parts.
Don't like to tar all Arsenil fans with the same brush, as I met some decent ones, but those planks who chanted boring ... boring Chelsea in today's match made themselves proper fools.

They did in the game last season aswell which resulted bin Mourinho saying "I agree I play them ten times and I never lost"
Pretty hard to get a shot on target when there are 10 men continuously in front of the goal. If Chelsea were more open, that number would be higher. Hence you're boring, but it works for you.

Forgetting that you did exactly the same at The Bridge.

Asking the Chelsea fans:
Do you find the football that you play boring?
Chelsea are the most efficient team in the league. Do they play the kind of football that gets you, Chelsea fans, off your seats, from one moment to the next, really enjoying the afternoon's entertainment (key word), and seeing your team steam-roller past opposition sides with a swagger that is really enjoyable to see?
Any team that wins the league are worthy winners of said league. And there is more than one way in which to win a football match. Chelsea, better than anyone, can grind teams down and pick them off, and that is to be applauded, even if it's not as enjoyable to watch. Opposition fans will always hate that approach, because to them it results in an experience that is not only frustrating to watch, but ultimately fruitless. That is, they get absolutely nothing positive out of the game (namely, zero points or 1 point at best!). Hence the criticism that Chelsea get from said fans.
Yes, we deserve to be called boring, how dare we stop Arsenal score against us
Chelsea will be deserved champions. But they honestly really are tedious to watch. The thing is, you don't notice that so much when it's your team charging towards the finish line so we can excuse this little delusion they have that they are not boring.

Says the Liverpool fan.
We played great football in the first six months while you lot played the worst brand of football I've seen for quite some time
Chelsea are deserved champions.
But of course their last games have been boring. I would do the same, but why lie about how Chelsea play.
18th century football is 18th century football.
The only thing boring today was the constant cynical fouling from Arsenal. If that's what they like to watch then good for them. No class and no Prems in over a decade.....BORING
I really wonder whether opposition fans have amnesia regarding the first half of our season.
It's almost as if they started watching the premier league in January and everything before that has been wiped out from their collective memory .
I remember us scoring not just one but two team goals which were lauded as some of the best goals of the season (against Burnley and Crystal Palace if I remember correctly). Not to mention our 6-3 demolition of Everton. But I guess that doesn't fit the "boring" Chelsea narrative .
We're playing like this (well at least for the last few games) because we have a 37 year old striker up top whose legs have pretty much gone. You saw how energetic and fluid we were in the first half (a half where we were arguably the better team).
Games preceeding the last month have been pretty dour I admit but that's almost certainly down to fatigue (due to Mourinho's dislike of rotation).
We play whatever way we can with the tools at our disposal to win. Whether that be expansive football or "negative" football we do what needs to be done to get the result. And this campaign we've shown the capacity to take both of the routes dependent on the opposition. Hence why we certainly will be worthy title winners .
I will admit Chelsea entertained me in the first half of the season but surely you will also admit it was the exception rather than the norm, sort of like a blip.

The comments are funny. Astonishing that someone thought they were proving the point with that photo. There's some dumb people out there.

In the games against the title challengers (if you can call them that) we've kept things more compact, aiming for the win but settling for the draw. It hasn't been pretty but is has been effective. In most of the other games, particularly in the 1st half of the season, we've been more expansive and played some cracking football. I, like a lot of Chelsea fans, have watched almost every game this season and have often been astonished with some of the play. Take the matches v Burnley, Everton, Swansea (x2), QPR & Spurs (at home obvs) for instance, and while we did badly vs PSG we had 5-0 and 6-0 scorelines in the UCL group stage.
Unfortunately people who call us 'boring' judge us on the few 'big' games and haven't seen the bigger picture. I for one am a very happy Chelsea fan. On the verge of the double, having showed many instances of attacking flair and excitement, as well as defensive rigidity and determination. We are the most complete team in the league by a long way and with some summer tweaking, will only get better.
No surprise that idiots like the Chameleon Prolapse and chaaaav think a picture of a team defending proves the point.
