btw, how obsessed are these arsenal fans with us. article after article about us
I think even the most ardent Chelsea fans would acknowledge that watching their team under JM is often like a watching a training exercise.
Didn’t see the game yesterday however understand it was a mundane affair.

Utd v Chelsea was mundane. Yesterday's game up until the 70th min was decent imo

Because I have read numerous match reports, all of which reporting that the game was a turgid affair, with both defences performing well.
Arsenal should've played with a recognised striker
Yesterday it was the easiest of our fixtures since the countdown of points began...it looked like a training exercise sometimes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Celebrations at the end said otherwise.

L'ars were all over the shop in defence. Without a striker, everytime we attacked we were denied a penalty and our shors on target were from players who dont play usually so were bit surprised when saw the goal.
Costa or Remy and it could have been over by half time
Calling the game turgid is stupid. It was one of the better 0-0 games.
That's what I thought TCW. Arsenal had more of the ball but we had our fair share too. I thought we played better without Drogba.
Was a good game with overall a fair result.
TCW
Arsenal had one shot on target and Chelsea had 3. Chelsea started without a striker and two attacking players...
That said, I think Chelsea will be worthy PL winners.
So? I was there. I watched every minute. And it wasn't turgid.
Also, if we started with Fabregas, Oscar, Willian, Hazard and Ramires, you are really stretching the definition of 'defensive player'.

Each to their own I suppose. I understand (as predicted) JM set up with his customary defensive line up?

We were less unilaterally defensive than against United. We also played quite high up the pitch for a lot of the game.

Completely understand why JM choses to play the way he does - it's proven to be successful!
However as a spectacle it’s not the brand of football I enjoy to watch.
You're not meant to enjoy it, the idea is to win at all costs and entertainment is one of those costs.
It's fine for me as I actually care more about Chelsea winning than I do about being entertained by it.
However yesterday we were not as ultra defensive as we could have been.
