You mean David haughty? Andrew is the sun journo
Haigh, even!
As you say, I don't think any of us fans care for him but it's not right at all what's happening to him.
Appaling treatment of a person. Great advert for the Arab states.
I seriously wouldn't go to any of them even if paid.
I read recently a man was arrested for something he'd written on Facebook....
.....In another country
WTF !
I actually thought he'd been released Eric. Can't believe he's still in.
You seen the photo of him?
He's lost 7 stone in weight, bloody outrageous treatment.

Jesus Christ....appalling treatment
No one deserves to be treated in the way he has been treated
^^^ thats the article i saw. He looks like a smack head.
He was a fairly bulky chap before.
Our legal system isn't perfect, but it's miles ahead of this sort of treatment.
I have said it before, I reckon this is duress. They are hoping he will wilt and plead.
Disgusting treatment.

Exclusive: Former Leeds Utd boss sentenced to 2 years in jail by Dubai court

Former Leeds United boss David Haigh has been jailed for two years after being convicted of “breach of trust” by the Dubai Criminal Court, sources have revealed to Arabian Business.
The British executive was arrested and jailed in Dubai in May 2014 on charges of misappropriating around $5 million of the company’s funds.
Haigh, the former deputy CEO of Dubai-based investment firm GFH Capital, was sentenced on Tuesday but intends to appeal the decision, the sources said.
“He maintains his innocence... He will be appealing immediately,” a spokesperson for Haigh told Arabian Business.
The 38-year-old was accused of embezzling from his former employer by fabricating about 100 invoices and arranging payment into at least four different bank accounts in Dubai, London and Manchester.
In a parallel civil case currently going through the DIFC Courts, GFH Capital is seeking $5 million in damages plus costs and “such further or other relief as the court thinks fit”.
Haigh counters that he was dishonestly lured to Dubai to be arrested and is claiming damages for pain and suffering, loss of liberty, earnings and reputation.
He has spent millions launching a defence against the allegations, but in June his lawyers dropped him as a client over non-payment of $2.4 million in unpaid fees.
His financial issues with his legal team came to light as part of an application lodged with the DIFC Courts to vary the freezing order on his assets and permit the draw-down of funds to pay part of his fees and expenses.
