Box to box midfielder, who reminds me a lot of Stevie G when he first started!
the new Mendieta then?!
suprised no one took the elpistolero name before me
You've taken elpistolero9, so 8 people took it before you.
Very much like Lee Catermole
Half a good season, followed by half a bad season. So yes, he turns up 50% of the time, perfect replacement for SteveME!
Oh, one appearance for England, where he bombed.
squad player,but fitter than aqualini
Could be a young Stevie G in the making.. but we said that about Jonjo Shelvey (fingers crossed on both though)
I fella i play footy with (who's a sunderland season ticket holder so might know a bit more about the lad than you two mancs) rates him. Agrees he is young, quite raw and as trouble sustaining a full season at the same level. BUT agrees that his potential is massive. Says he is fast, can tackle has a good eye for a pass and a great cross. He also said he iis at his best when he is on the right wing...could KK have pulled a winger out of the bag without anyone noticing!
He started at Sunderland really promisingly then when away to england came back and been hopeless ever since. However, getting away from idiotic fat geordie Steve Bruce might be the making of the kid.

Maybe it's because he plays no.7 that no-one's taken that name
