Just some jealous Gooon trying to stir it up
All well and good but just like a lazy journalist he has not cross referenced the details he has supplied and later today when I get back I shall pull that entire blog to pieces
The article got ripped apart later on by somebody who actually has a grasp on the facts. Blog by a lazy journo, green-eyed gooner or most likely a combination of the two.
Haringey is not a state the last time I drove through. Bit of a hole agreed, but not a state. Also, I recall the Emirates had £50m of infrastructure aid from Islington council so a tad rich coming from them. Fair enough, this doesn't mean that they were handed the money in readies but the equivalent of.
Your forgetting how the Gooners want all things all ways
Never has there been a bigger bunch of hypocrites in football starting with the manager
Such smugness relating to the Emirates and the 'business plan' yet the truth is they genuinely seemed to believe that every club had the benefit of prime London real estate to leverage against been able to build a new stadium
Clearly they don't understand how the same options aren't available to the clubs outside London
This whole 'look at us, aren't we great & clever' is indicative of the ethos of the whole club
The truth is that what Bayern Munich have done has made the Arsenal plan look like child's play!
They managed to forget how many families were thrown out of their church owned properties when they moved to North London and the CPO's when they moved around the corner. Evidently, our 'treatment' of Archway was somehow worse because of its recency even though we paid them handsomely to move. Couldn't make it up.

Pretty simple when you're the only super club in your league. Bayern also had their stadium expenses covered for them.
As opposed to a 'bubble' London real estate market
Excuses, excuses, excuses...
