That's not true on here, the likes of Ilko kept telling us what fans were thinking just as we were happy with some good results. Didn't see an awful lot thinking we'd walk it but plenty the other way until recent weeks.
For those who were like that you would hope they learn a lesson but didn't after cockyness around playoffs last season so little chance.
I personally am nearly always cautious of getting ahead of things
Sorry Ray, but at the start of the season a lot of your ummm 'disappearing' fans on here rolled up stating how great you were and the league was yours, Pearce was the future etc etc. (specifically how he did well at City with no money and with the U21's)
Both sets of fans are guilty of it (and it does lead to some decent banter). We now have to put up with the mickey taking that we're gonna get which is well and good but don't try and paint it as whiter than white for your own team, there's a reason half of you decide to disappear when you lose.
Come on gbo!
Unfilter TEG and you can comment on his articles.
There wouldn't have been more than three or four tops. The constant visitors on our board have been telling us no uncertain terms that you're the real deal, you don't make excuses, you've got this etc. I can recall one of them was certain you'd win the title FGS. Fair enough having confidence but continually clarified it as fact not opinion.
Back when we was winning I kept asking Ilko to name the people on here who thought the title was ours, he couldn't just said his Forest supporting friends. Who was it then?
As your season finished pretty early Ray, you'd have to go all the way back to the start to dig them up. I was one that thought we'd finish top 2, I still thought it after we started to lose after Fulham.
Still think we've got a very good chance next season.
It's not a bad thing to have confidence in your team, it's tiresome when people try to claim the higher ground over bragging (bit like Millwall saying other clubs have a hooligan problem.)
Seasons over, disappointed but looking forward to the next. Depending on pre-season and if we have a clearout think we'll be fine again next year.
TEG - I understand Wassa is banned from commenting on your threads? Is that not true? He cant see it according to him.
You talk about getting facts straight yet you believe the government had a hand in the 9/11 attacks??! It was all a big set up was it??
Yes, Derby were hoisted by their own petard but some of the Florest assertions at the beginning of the season were just pitiful and too easy to puncture

that is a very big swerve off tangent right there.

BS, if you filter someone you can't see their threads without logging off and certainly can't comment on them. If you're filtered by someone you can see all their posts but can't comment on the threads.
WAGBO struggles with that comments and seems convinced I've filtered him (which I haven't at present). So he logs off and on to see what I'm saying then accuses me of doing that. It's beyond dense but we all know what he is
BS, I realised why you thought that after I commented and seen his comment on another thread. Ray's already explained but no I haven't filtered him, haven't banned him from commenting or anything. He's filtered me as you probably know by now.
As for 9/11, yes I definitely believe that the government was involved. We obviously have a difference of opinion but I'll quite happily talk about if with you. In fact you're one of the best ones on here to have a reasonable debate with
I see notts wanted to beat Derby in terms of total bottlers.
He filters people and then has a go at them for filtering him when they haven't.
A Wolves fan I follow is retweeting loads of Derby comments from earlier in the season at the moment. Lots of "title is ours" type comments, evidentially they had quite a bit off the sheep as well
Noones saying it wasn't said Ray, what we're saying is it's stupid to think we were the only ones doing it..
Egg on face time - yup but at least we were up there for most of the season
Not saying you were the only ones but were fairly prolific with it and as I say you should know better after last season.
No chance Ray, you know that, we're riding high at the top of the league, every manager's saying were the best footballing side, what do you expect us to say
I'd agree if say we were top for a few weeks and then slid down the league never to challenge again over the season.
It started before that Manc

A good hindsight read
Anyway, IMO best to be somewhere between realistic and pessimistic then be pleasantly surprised that kicked in the balls. Although being a Forest fan means even pessimistic fans still get surprised by the level of ineptness.
We won't do well next season and will be turning over managers again. Also suspect Fawaz is looking to bin us off, could work out better but think we will get in a much bigger mess first
Let's have next seasons predictions for our own teams. I'm going bottom half, DF gone by Xmas and someone else average coming in to give us enough of a short term bounce to not go down.
Strett hindsight is a wonderful thing but you always must be careful what you write because one day it come back to haunt you.
Best to gloat after the event
I can't wait for next season now Ray!!!!
