As a neutral I your performance
fully deserved result
Thanks Kaiser. It's tough on fans nerves ceding 80% possession to a team as good as United.
And that's us now safe.
6 seasons in a row
Back to back wins at Old Trafford
Well done the Baggies. Stuffed 'em at Old Trafford for a second year in a row. Well done TP for keeping you in the top flight for another season. Hopefully we'll join you next year.
Really hope you do join us Wolfie. For 10 minutes today the dream was still on. Better luck next year.
Mind you this league is not for the faint hearted.
It was the biggest bus Utd have seen for years.
Top defensive performance and tbh, Utd weren't really all that.
Special mention goes out to Boaz Myhill....what a guy...
Slightly off track. It would seem Newcastle have completely lost the plot and Carver has gone insane by accusing Williamson of being sent off on purpose...
This could be good for us.
Williamson and Janmaat will be missing for the Albion game, Heis. Is another Albion win written in the stars?
I actually think Newcastle will win at St James Park.
They are long long long overdue some points and WBA will - understandably and despite TP - take their foot off the gas a bit now.
Hope I'm wrong. But I see a Newcastle win.
I think Newcastle fans deserve to see their team lose all their remaining games this season for the stick they gave Alan Pardew.
I'd love it, just love it, if we could stuff them next week and shut them up. Stupid Geordies.
Unkind Aries although you are right about the stick they gave Pardew. How they must miss him now. I hate to admit it but part of me wants to lose next week to put one over on our friends from Witton. If only Foster had not given away that last second penalty, their revival started then.

We were just better than you
You're still 5 points behind though and you didn't expect that after this weekend did you?
We are 5 points behind because for 2/3 of season we were dire. You have done well to survive
comment by Andy Grays cc the future is always claret and blue. (U4819)

But only just!
Returning the original topic, I also think this site is the best for winding up touchy Dingles. They don't like talking about how Mad Mick's team finished higher than them and even deleted my article about it! They easily outnumber us on here but they still have to resort to crying to the mods. They just can't handle us being Premier League and them being lower league AGAIN. Aw diddums!
There is a certain irony in the fact that the team that finished behind them in their 'record breaking year' finished ahead of them in this supposed 'successful' championship campaign and there's 'Muppet' also finishing higher with the club he 'rescued'.
Missing out on GD must be hard to bear....
Isn't this twice Wolves have missed out on the play-offs on goal difference? Just checked - in 2007-08, when Albion won the Championship, Wolves missed out on the play-offs by one goal.
If that was our best performance of the season then it goes to show what a poor season it was.
Don't get me wrong, great result but great performance?

No wonder they're so bitter!
Coxy, if we 'park our bus' in every away game next year, law of averages says that we should get lucky in about 50% of them...
Is this what we have got to look forward to? Or is it just a short term measure to see this season out?
I hope it's the later.
If you want to watch us go to old Trafford and "have a go" we would've got battered. Like the majority of teams. You get nothing for an exiting 6-2 loss.
Perfect game plan, perfect performance, all with a team starting line up that cost less than £7m to put together.
Well done to Tony and the boys. On the whole done a remarkable job since he's come in and for that we should be extremely thankful. He's a winner, and with the right additions, the future looks bright
