Those people who hate MKDons say they stole the club from Wimbledon.....................................no they didn't, there was no ground, no money & if Winkleman had not stepped in there would have been no football club.
Okay they moved a long way away, but that was purely down to not being able to go anywhere else. There was even talk of Dublin at one point!
In its eleven year history, MKDons have come a long way, excellent youth set up, terrific stadium & have created a team as far away from the old Wimbledon as you could possibly get. They now play open attacking football & have brought some great youngsters through like Ali, who is coming to Spurs.
I think it is now time for everyone to accept that Milton Keynes was actually a good move, and a near 17,000 crowd on Sunday shows the area is ripe for a good team. Expect attendances to be in the 20,000+ bracket next season in The Championship
Belated thanks. There is not many of us on here any more, but I hope we stay up and Posh join us next season. I don't want to get into the old debate as I have heard all the arguments and no one is going to change their mind, but the team deserved it and they have galvanised our little new town.
Congratz to MKD

Really? Club franchise?

Oh come on! They've earned it. Time for them to lose the club franchise tag, especially as Wimbledon have returned to the Football league.
