I'd add Hart, Boris, despite some wobbly moments in the past he is now a quality keeper and has worked on his distribution, as we saw on Sunday.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Your so right Hart has upped his game big time this year decent keepers are hard to find and he loves the club which is a huge bonus, him along with Silva and Aguero are the only players to come out with any credit this season for me.
I don't quite get your rationale here Vic.
On one hand you point to Boatang's performance against Barcelona in order to criticise him...
...Yet on the other hand, you infer that City shouldn't be criticised for their performance against Barcelona.
The frustrating thing about our games with Barca was our tactical naivety in the first game. We did reorganise and start to play in the second half, but it was too late by then. To get past them you need to be tactically spot on and also lucky. But then that's how Celsea won it with DiMatteo.
LQ we are more the Barcelona of 2011.

Terry, Kompany and Cahill are the 3 best CBs in the league.
I'd put Koscielny on Smalling (who has improved big time this season) or Sahkos level personally.
Quite clear who's talking tripe here. Clueless ain't the word.
The Chelsea fans on here spent the first half of the season slagging Cahill off.
Kompany has his flaws, but he was also the figurehead in the best defence in the leage four years running, and has lifted 2 titles in the most recent four seasons. He wasn't overrated, he was rated exactly as highly as someone with his record should be. This year he hasn't hit the same heights, and he's been highly criticised given the high standards he has maintained in recent years.
I see Vinny as a very important part of City right now, hopefully this season is just a blip and I definitely wouldn't want to see him leave in the summer. Gary Cahill on the other hand an integral part of England right now? Not so sure.
VK's big problem is his fitness. He's always been injury prone, and since his natural game relies on a lot of speed, his injuries affect him badly. On form he is superlative.
He has a full Summer to get his fitness back, he'll be back to his best next season.
His fitness has been his main issue this year no doubt, but a close second is him having to go for balls that have ghosted through the most unreliable central midfield we've had since Hughes.

So true. Barry and Dejong weren't so average despite what people said.
I don't know how City fans can mock Koscielny either with Kompany being a total clown of late. He's still living of his good season a few years back. Should be an absolute joke to list among the top CBs in the league currently.
He captained us to 2 trophies last season, is that 'a few years back' in Goonerish?
So what? Even last year he was clownish. He's taken it to a new level recently though.

Kompany's had more than one good season.
What's up next from the Arsenal Thinktank?
"Aguero has only had 1 good season".
Aguero is genuine quality. Criminal to put Kompany alongside him. Don't expect Boris clown to know any better though.
I've probably seen Kompany and Aguero play together live about 60/70 times.
Funnily enough, neither Mancini nor Pellegrini have played them either as twin strikers or as a pair of central defenders.
Hehe You soo funny. Mr.Funnyman.
Not as funny as all the 'Koscielny is crap' and 'Wenger out' posts on the Arsenal board about 5 months ago.
There were plenty of "Pellegrini out" posts on your board a while back too. Not sure what that has to do with the current debate.
