I wouldn't either after how Pac has embarrassed himself, his fans and his team by making and sticking with these pathetic childish excuses.

I said a dozen times before this fight that there would be no rematch after Floyd wins, so no surprises here.

I think if it was close there would have been, but it wasn't.

Even though it wasn't close, if Pac had been humble and respectful and congratulated Floyd on being the better man on the night...Floyd would have gone for a rematch infront of 100,000 people.

That rematch would triple the earnings of this fight.

Floyd loves money.

It wouldn't triple the earnings at all, if there are 100,000 tickets available for instance the exclusivity decreases so therefore so do the prices proportionally. You seem to be assuming that you'd be able to sell a ticket in a stadium for $60,000 which you would not. The PPV would also drop, as would the advertising money meaning you're left with a fight that makes far less money.

Because we all know Floyd is humble and respectful right

Come on now the fight would still make money. Not as much as the first fight but that was the most lucrative fight in boxing history.

Nobody is saying differently so what's your point?

We can't criticise Pacquiao for not being a man of his word because everyone knows Floyd is a bit of prat?

in defeat? who knows.

He was throughout the build up to this fight.

I think if he had been completely dominated, he wouldn't have been as cowardly and pathetic as Pac.

Im not assuming the tickets would be as expensive...but even if the front 20,000 seats sell at $10k (even though I think they would range from $10k-$50k) that's $200,000,000 minimium

And even if the other 80,000 were only $200 (even though they would range from $100-$2500) that's another $16,000,000 minimum just in live gate.

There would still be a massive PPV number - say 2m at $50 each that's another $100,000,000

I don't think it could possibly make less.

The prices wouldn't be near that, you don't pay $50k for a ticket to fight 100,000 more people are watching, it isn't how it works.

The fight wasn't close. No rematch needed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So why did you score the fight as a possible 7-5 then Vik after watching it again ?

Can't argue with Floyd here, be a little bit humble and respectful in defeat and thrash out a rematch afterwards if you think it would make any difference (hint: it won't)
Manny's been made to look all kinds of bad in this and I hope it doesn't affect his legacy.

Second fight wouldn't make close to the 1st fight in my eyes, Floyd won comfortably and with ease, cost a fortune for everyone that paid for a damp squib (in most peoples eyes) would have to cut the cost a lot for people to swallow the 2nd one

I had it 8-4 and i said it could have been 7-5. 8-4 is not close. It wasn't just the scorecards it was the fashion floyd won in. He took mannys heart. No rematch needed.

7-5 is close though and that's how you possibly scored it after watching the fight several times.

Vik your exact words were:

"I have watched the fight a total of 7 times now. I have it Floyd 7-5 or 8-4 everytime".

Think it's the manner of the win more than anything Supes, Manny looked like a lost child with no idea what to do etc, Floyd looked in complete control and looked like he could have stepped it up a few levels if he wanted.

Manny was just outclassed

The ten point must system can sometimes make a fairly one sided fight look closer than it was; Ward schooling Froch being an example, not close in the slightest with 7 clear Ward rounds but rounds that were compartively closer which sometimes plays tricks on judges.

I said or. But im not a judge so make of that what you will.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Doesn't matter that you're not a judge. You called the fight as a possible 7-5, but then on this thread you said that the fight wasn't even close.

You seem confused.
