yeah yeah
Labout are finished as a political party, they couldnt take a weak coalition government that were there for the taking, forget 2020...
So gaining seats in the main part of Great Britain, the capital city London is a party that is finished. One seat in London is worth about 20 carrot cruncher seats in cornwall and devon.
London runs the country, not devon and cornwall.
I personally would like to thank Sturgeon and Salmond for pretty much the same reason. Well done the SNP. My Scots family has gone very quiet after giving me a lot of stick about lions roaring...! More like a lickle mouse!
For as long as we continue to use fractional reserve banking system we will stay in debt, that's what its there for! Doesn't matter which party u vote for, they all champion this system. Borrow more here cut this and that there makes no difference
I'm still trying to work out what Russell Brand IS !!!!
He doesn't sing, he clearly isn't a comedian or a political analyst, so what is he for ?
To me he is just a loud-mouthed cokc

I’m not so sure about that, yeah yeah.
First of all, the coalition had a majority of around 70 seats, which I don’t think is all that weak, and I don’t think they were there for the taking, either: there’s a lot of fear and nationalism around, which is drawing us towards the dissolution of the union and an EU exit,.
Labour were never going to stand on a ticket of blaming johnny-foreigner, so “there for the taking” is a bit of a stretch, because it’s not a strategic space they could easily have moved into: it’s a space already held by the nationalist parties and the Conservatives.
This is the first Conservative majority for 23 years, and the last one stumbled through with a small majority, fighting against its own Eurosceptic back-benchers, in the face of a relatively mild economic down-turn. It was that stumbling performance, against those difficulties, that kept them from getting a majority for 23 years.
Recognise anything about that scenario?

sandy,
So your another lemming that keeps getting sucked in by the line Britain had no money left.
==========================
Sucked in? Have you not seen the note Cameron has been carrying around with him for the past 5 years? …if there’s one thing that cannot be denied its the fact Labour left no money in the tin. That is (as they say) written in black and white...
Sizzle
Zero contract hour jobs where you're paid so badly you're still entitied to benefits is what they've created. Truly Aspirational
===========================
Only 2% of jobs created were zero hours – and in the majority of cases its because it suits the individual. Blimey, if a roofing company (just one example of many ) paid their staff whenever it rained there wouldn’t be one single roofing company in the black – they’d all be bankrupt….

The Ace,
My life, and for all those around me, has always been for the better when Tories have been in power.
Isn't it also a fact that Labour have always left employment lower at the end of every single term in government to when they came in? This cannot be ignored.
No party is perfect - no party will make everyone's life for the better in every single year they govern but the Country is clearly better with the trusted Tories.
I'm far from being a high earner but i think the richest already pay enough in taxes - they pay a higher percentage of a higher wage. Why should people who have worked hard to have a better, richer, lifestyle have to bail out the ones who cant be bothered to get out of bed? Good luck to them i say....
I appreciate some people have a bad life through no fault of their own - but its not the rich people's fault either. As long as they're not dodging their taxes, i dont have a problem with them.
...and clearly a lot of people feel the same way, hence they smashed it yesterday .

Ace I totally agree with all your points
5 years from now the public will be desperate to get rid of this Tory government. Their main aim is to protect the richest, the corporations as well as the bankers who actually got us into the recession in the first place.
The corporations will continue to not pay corporation tax and the bankers will continue to get their ridiculous bonuses while the poorest and weakest in society will continue to be penalised and blamed and scapegoated.
That's how the Tories have always done it so expect more of the same, or actually much worse without the restrictions of the coalition that have been previously imposed on them.

Labour are dead and buried, Tories will stay strong, UKIP will grow stronger, while everyone else becomes weaker.

Sizzle,
And the rich are not paying nearly enough tax, which I know for a fact as I make my living forcing them to pay it.
========================
I dont even see why the rich should pay a higher percentage than the poor - afterall the fact they earn more means they would pay more than a low earner anyway, but to ask them to give up half their earnings is quite frankly a bloody cheek. Its a good job i'm not rich as i would feel even more strongly about it - and most probably look to live abroad.
