sandy, i was eight years old when Spurs won the double and I knew nothing of them before the 61 FA Cup Final against Leicester so there was NO bandwagon. It was my initiation into football.
Danny Blanchflower to Alan Mullery was my best era.
anyway as bad as we aoure at the moment… i was raised on relegation battles and mid table finishes.

You really are a pathetic individual, aren't you?
Your justification for today is we once had a terrible season about 20 years ago with Christian Gross?
I mean, your attempts to deflect attention from the manager is now pathetic.
Harry Redknapp and George Graham were the most famous names of their eras to take control of spurs. Under George we won a trophy and under Harry twice finishing in the top four. A host of nobodies took charge and nothing was achieved. For goodness sake let's get a TOP name here.
We don't need a top name top. Yes it would be nice, but what big name would want to manage this shambles?
AVB was apparently a top name. We need a manager capable of getting the best out existing players, many of whom are rather average. One with Premiership experience would be preferable. To be honest, we should have given Sherwood at least one more season.
AVB was NEVER a top name, his main claim to fame was that he worked with Jose. This season has imitated AVB a little inasmuch as we were second in the table early on in the season. Yet down we fell. I've already posted who I'd like to see at Spurs.
Frank de Boer I think you said before?

How many minutes/hours/days will it take for rent-a-quote to pipe up with more waffle to try and exonerate himself from any blame and also claim he was victim of a conspiracy? I reckon he'll be on talkshīte by Tuesday latest.
That idiot Alan brazil will have him on first thing tomorrow so that they can suck each other off
Let's sign the coach who has had 4 consecutive title wins with Ajax, it's clear he's head and shoulders above the others in the Dutch league. He wants to come to the PL with us or Liverpool, I say to us.
Klopp is leaving Dortmund, let's offer a huge wage.
MoPo I don't think can compete with Mourinho, Pellegrini, Wenger or Van Gaal, the two I mentioned I think can.
I also suggested Laurent Blanc a couple of years ago.
