According to some, apparently this has nothing to do with the manager

Lloris must think of moving maybe back to Lyon.
Our defence is a complete farce, Vlad and Fazio are not good enough, JV can be good enough but rarely shows it, Kaboul has been awful since a bad injury. Dier is still developing and has looked our most consistent CB (when not being used as a FB).
It is no wonder we have the 5th worst defence in the PL, not good enough all round.
Don
We all know on paper Spurs have the 4th worse defence, but in reality me and you know Spurs have the fecking worse defence in the prem. At least four new defenders are needed for next season, before any other part of the team is even thought about.
sandy brown surely not as bad as QPR
A lot worse than QPR, they just have a Shiite team, so they have a bit of an excuse.
Exactly sandy. Qpr are under constant pressure due to being so s hite so have every excuse for having a p Iss poor defence. Spurs on the other hand have spent millions on c rap but millions regardless on players and have the 5th best attack in the peen stat wise. There is no excuse for our defence to be conceding the pathetic amount of goals they have. They are not under constant pressure like the really poor teams. Oh and I agree I would happily sell every single one of them mate and stsrt all over in defence
Yes there's a defence problem but BLAME the TACTICS and TEAM SELECTION.
Many here believed Bentaleb and Mason was good enough CM partnership...Im not sure why.
Neither of our CMs are bright enough to tactically adjust their positioning when our so-called 'pressing' game is off the pace.
POCH has to take the blame.
Don,
You cant keep blaming Levy. Poch must have known when he became Spurs manager that we was not going to sign John Terry, Pique, Jordi Alba and Zabaleta.
I dont agree with everything Levy does - far from it - otherwise we would have Sherwood over Poch for starters - but he genuinely has the progress of Spurs at heart when he does transfer business.
He beat Liverpool to the signing of Dempsey and Siggy, he got Lamela who you (Don) was creaming your pants over at the time, he splashed out for Soladdo (a supposed goal machine) and many others. Davies was actually rated as one of the best upcoming LBs when we signed him too.
Everyone takes their part in the blame of course, but it does annoy me when Levy gets the blame when things go sour.
don was having wet dreams when we signed lamela (and vertonghen)
both rubbish
Poch never seems to adjust tactically to deal with certain teams strengths and weaknesses, he always plays the same formation with the same personnel (barring injuries).
Mourinho for eg, brought Zouma into the cup final team as a tactical change, and Fergie would regularly select the likes of Darren Fletcher and change formation in the biggest games.
We see none of that with Poch, he sends out just about the same XI every game with the same game plan.
his persistence with mason and bentaleb (which clearly isn't working) is a concern

The problem is, Don forms an opinion on a reputation he has heard about - or read about - he doesn't seem to judge by what he actually sees for himself.
This is why he calls so many things wrong - and why he questions why I was against AVB (for example) - not realising we all had the opportunity to witness his management style first hand - and not from what we read on Wiki.
This is why I would always insist on judging first hand and not by transfer value or hearsay.
