Not sure on Poyet....seems to kick up a fuss wherever he goes.
He fell out with a lot of people at Brighton and Sunderland
He did crap at Sunderland.
Poyet and Cellino would 'fall out' in about 2 weeks - too much ego for them both to work together.
I don't see Redfearn as submissive, he's just quietly dignified. Treats the club with respect, and tries his best to keep things calm....however futile that is. Whatever you think of him as a coach, he's done us proud and provided a steady counterpoint to the insane megalomaniacs that work above him.
You should ask the coaches Redfearn got rid of if he "treats the club with respect". I think you might get a different answer.
Who did he get rid of? I wasn't aware of this...
Not sure what planet you're on . Maybe you are happy with 15th in the table and lose your last 5 or 6 games(whatever) - His tactics are crazy.
We lost two of our last 5 games
I'm happier with 15th, than I would be with relegation, which is where I believe we were heading before redders stepped up.
I think he probably isn't the best coach going...but it's kinda hard to judge him based on the situation he was put in (e.g., having his 2nd in command sacked after a decent run of results, no option to bring in players he wanted, no coaching staff at all by sounds of things, Italian player mutiny )....and based on what he did, I feel he deserves an opportunity to prove himself
Listen, I won't be too upset if he goes, depending on who he is replaced with....but either way think he deserves a huge mark of appreciation for all he's done for the club, from youth team onwards.
Exactly what Ruphio said....cant put it fairer than that
Assuming you're talking about Naylor and Bromby, Cellino binned them.
Also, we would have finished much higher if it wasn't for Cellino's influences towards the end of the season.
Agree with that Ruphio.
Pro, Redfearn was involved.
But it was Cellino that led the cuts, and he probably thought he'd at least get other people in for the roles.
And Redfearn who said get rid of them.
Redfearns diamond steered towards relegation ffs, thompson saved him.
We were already heading towards relegation using Cellino's diamond, the wins we picked up during Redfearns caretaker term were crucial
I thought it was Redder's that changed the system from Cellino's charge to nowhere Shaun?..
Ok, so we "all" want to have the "worlds best" but we have a slight problem there, other fans/supporters/hangeroner's/even cleaning lady's want them as well, so, how do we get the worlds best, oh, we have to pay for them!..
Oh well, we'd best hope someone with a fat ass comes in and finds us the best, but hopefully he does it on the cheap eh?.
We lost 5 of our last 7 games !!!
Well you could ask how many of them would we have won if the diamond had been played!..
Or how many would we have won if the diamond hadn't been binned!..
Who knows eh?.
