His hair is absolutely atrocious, that much is clear.

That comment sums up spurs hierarchy on transfers 😭
I know he played on the right at times during the end of his Spurs career (while he could do no wrong)and the modern formations favours inverted wingers but I just feel Bale isn't one who should be playing with the notion of cutting back inside.
He is, without meaning to sound harsh a very simple player, fairly 2D and a bit of a kick and chance man, that may sound like I'm criticising him, I'm not. It is just some players are wonderful in a myriad of positions, others you feel are born to do a job.
I may describe Bale as 'kick and chance' (I know he is a talented player btw) but I just feel get him on the left where he feel comfortable and watch him deliver, watch him where he isn't thinking "at some point I'll need to follow and instruction that doesn't get the best from me I hope I don't feck this up". Put him on the left and give him the freedom to do what he wants to do, motor, it is what gives him the extra burst of stregth, he doesn't have the skill of a Robben but he just had some extra gear and when it comes to the small margins of athletes to make that gear count (without outsmarting or using as much skill) you need that type of player just thinking 'I've got the besting of you here and I'm just going to take you on, you know what I'm going to do but I know I've got you". Once the man is beaten and Bale is in his pomp his confidence is up and he plays with freedom, the kind of freedom that either lets him deliver what he can naturally do in a brilliant cross of just that positively in his play which is horrible to face and often results in a goal.
He should have gone to somewhere like Bayern, Chelsea, or (dare I say it) United
Jamez has been pants this year and he cost 60mill, bale gets all the blame, real fans on their way to ruining a fantastic player again
James has actually been quite good this season. I still don't think they should have got him in the summer though. Suarez should have been there Main target as Benzema really isn't that good. Just a workhorse

Bale on the left would be brilliant for the majority of the game, then he can move inside in the last 20 if we need to win.
Obviously he wont come to us, just hypothetically.

Mate. Benzema is undoubtedly world class
He isn't as good as Suarez but to call him a workhorse is ridiculous and puts into question your whole understanding of football.
IMO of course
I didn't think Bale had that bad a game.
Did anyone notice how little Ronaldo did today?
Sure he scored the PK, but that was about it.
Those Juve defenders kept them both quiet.
Bale used to run at defenders when at WHL, but the opposition in the Euros is so much better that he can't do that now.
As for him returning to WHL, Levy wouldn't dream of paying his salary.
He's stuck. And .... his agent isn't doing him any favors either.
It took Gareth a while to come good with us so maybe he needs similar time at Real.
