In honesty Mills is only going as we can't afford his wages
He has been the club captain all season.
Beckford not good enough for the championship, league one player at best. Purely a financial decision to release mills. On about £25000 a week at bolton so good luck to him finding similar. Cravies will make a decent free signing for anyone that can get him fit. Had several hamstring injuries this season and when he was on his hot streak in nov/dec was often looking knackered in the 2nd half of games. The fact that neil lennon prefers emile heskey says a lot.

The fact that Beckford has a half decent scoring record yet gets moved on virtually every year should tell you all you need to know about his personality

Once your parachute money runs out this season, then unless you get promoted, the lists of released players of the Boltons and the Blackpools will be your squad additions gene pool.
No pressure.
None at all.
The parachute payments have little impact on squad improvements.
Our goal difference is only 1 less than Brentford now but we do have two games in hand.
