Likely is a conundrum. His all round play is poor, at times he struggles to trap the ball. But he gets in great positions and takes a good ratio of his chances. Getting 20 goals in a season is likely to be the rule and not the exception imo. Big price paid for him but I think it will look like better value as time goes on

New phone and autocorrect is killing me
Even though quite a few of them were scored against poor opposition in the Europa. I still think he has plenty of scope for improvement in his all around play. Yet still a good milestone only the second Everton player in the premiership era.
I rather go into the new season with him than without him,but I'd sell if a profit could be made and we replaced him with quality. He's crap with the ball at his feet and the timing of his runs leaves a lot to be desired.
Poor opposition. Young boys have a fine home record.
From my experience, Young Boys are usually wide open at the back

From your experience?
It was in jest. Don't take it the wrong way :/
The only downside to selling him for break even/profit is that Martinez would then be back shopping at Wigan. He doesn't have the pull to attract better players

valid point! apart from Barry ( last season's form) & lakaku. Who has he signed that's been an improvement on who we already had?

McCarthy was a brilliant signing as is Besic.

mccarthy was his best buy imo, Besic looks good but for some reason not played much. Can't really improve us if he doesn't get to play. Just hoping that Martinez is giving him this season to acclimatise to the premier league and we see alot more of him next season.
It would be nice if Everton actually kept hold of a proven goalscorer for more than one season. Always been our problem with strikers
Besic, McCarthy, Galloway and trusting Stones and Barkley.
Robles is a good youn keeper and showed it at Xmas with his clean sheets in games
