I was just thinking of doing an article myself on Lamela. He's starting to get involved more and beginning to show some signs of progress. Hopefully there's a lot more to come from him next season - I believe next season is win or bust as far as his Spurs career is concerned.
Yes he is improving all the time and is looking like becoming an important player for us.
I read somewhere that on combined goals and assists in the PL this season, Lamela is now level with Coutinho, whom was in the team of the year and Pool fans and the media have been raving over for some time.
You know what. I think we ALL really want him to do well. The Lord knows that i am desperate for him to do well and so whenever he does something good i end up justifying/hoping to myself that he has/will come good. I think we are all guilty of this. Eg the assist yday. Yes it was a great assist, but i also saw him do a lot of rubbish and I just don't think hes good enough. Hopefully he will make it though
Like I said give Him next season atleast. He has been disappointing overall but he is no where near as bad as certain posters on here make out. That ratio of assists and goals is not actually to bad when you consider Andros Townsend and lennon combined can barely muster an assist between them
Definitely got talent. Next season will be telling but definitely a player worth keeping.
79 touches and 9 recoveries yesterday.
Lamela had Twice as many tackles as Mason and Bentaleb combined.

I think we should give him a chance behind Kane with Eriksen on the left and Chadli on the right.
Given that his first season was a total write off this is in effect his first season.
Sometimes we are too quick to jump on a bandwagon.
Our investment means we are betting off persevering rather than cutting losses.
We are great at writing off players too quickly at Spurs. How many of you would have been unhappy if we had loaned Bale out after a year?
Lamela has loads of ability & does work hard, in recent games he has been one of our better players. I certainly want him to stay longer at WHL!<OK>
Lamela looks to be improving, and given that both Erikssen and Chadli, both of whim have scored plenty of goals this season, we're supposed to be part of the wasted Bale money, then maybe it has to all been wasted after all.
