No for me.

I don't think he is of the quality to take us to the next level. On a separate note, I hope we can convince Jimmy Milner to stay.

I think he'd be a good squad player for you, and is better than Navas. Tend to agree that he isn't currently good enough to be an integral part of a team winning the PL/competing for the CL, so at £20m he's a good buy, at £30m a fair one, anything above that and I don't really see the point.

Yes read today we are offering Jimmy £135k a week to stay...Hope he takes it he still has a mjor part to play!!

If he goes i hope we go all out for Pjanic and Pogba though!

A simple no from me.

Especially as it looks likn he could be upwards of £30m.

Better English players around for that money.

He's not had the best of years but Barkley would be the one i'd like.

He's a very good young player

Barkley is so overrated, what is it about him that people like?

he's an odd one, the kind of player we all want to do well, because he does something that pretty much no other PL player - certainly english player - does, and that is pick the ball up in central midfield and really drive forward with it. he's a very dynamic player, and seems to have the potential to really be a top player.

but the fact is that he hasn't kicked on at all this season, quite the opposite, and he currently barely looks like a £15m player, let alone a £50m one. not even being a regular starter for a midtable team isn't exactly a sign of greatness.

I can forsee him being another Rooney in that his truly best years are as a young player.

He'd certainly add something to the side, something a little more direct at times. And I think it's funny now the value has dropped from the 80m called out not too long ago.

Sterlings the quality City have to look for and would be a good fit. City would improve him

I'd say yes. He's English and he is talented. There are negatives - he's not had a great season specially since he decided to ship out. I reckon he would get lots of game time with us and he would be a good fit in our midfield. Specially true if Milner leaves as seems probable.

He played well with a forward that drew defenders in thus giving him space, aguero would suit this type of game from him.

I may be in the minority but I would love Sterling at City, would give us that little bit more that Navas doesn't give us, whats not mentioned is he tracks back really well.

Would he be an improvement on the squad?
You would have to say he would be so if we can pick him up for £25m or less then it's a yes from me

Sterling would benefit by playing with a top quality squad, but that price tag's a bit high. He'd pay off though. Would you rather see Chelsea land him?
