Great come back. Almost as good as his goalscoring.
He's actually right though. Teggs had just had a load of stick the previous week for never saying anything of interest. Then suddenly he came out with that and made headlines.
The thing is that Henry is right too.
But it's all very dull really.

hummm.. I don't know. It is not like the comments came out of no where. It was just after the Chelsea game in which Giroud was practically invisible (still hasn't re-appeared btw).
He just said loud what we all already knew. People think it is not ok because he is an Arsenal fan and former players. But the same comments were from Neville, it wouldn't have made any story.
Should Henry be a bit nicer to his fellow countryman, like Wenger?
Henry keeping himself in the frame regarding Arsenal.
Giroud > Henry (the pundit)
Henry is dull at pundity
Giroud is sh/t at football
I know which I'd rather be
I am surprised that got to Giroud, because if there's one thing he is good, it's being mentally strong.
Henry said the right thing though, maybe perceived harsh but it's true

Yes it's true, but maybe it was too blunt. But how else do you say Giroud is not good enough to be Arsenal's number 1 striker? And it coincided with Giroud's goal drought so that rubbed him the wrong end.

Without wishing to sound harsh, I'm sure you'd rather have Giroud's career than whatever it is you do.
Henry was good enough at football to earn the right to say Giroud is crap (my paraphrase). Giroud is not good enough so will probably never be asked to be a pundit.

Indeed.
I think henry has improved in his pundit roll since he first started working. Still got a lot to do but he is improving.
Henry gave his opinion. Is it his opinion or is it to say something that he was sure of media controversy that is questionable. The timing of Henry's comments wasnt the best. We didnt even lose and did well as a team before. Wenger is right....No player alone wins you anything....
Giroud responded in a manner that no one can be offended off.
Move on.
I'd love Giroud to win us the title but let's be honest, Henry is right. Every team on the planet would have had Henry at his peak, who would take Giroud?
Henry is a bit dull at punditry. No reason why a great player should be a great pundit. Ian Botham on Sky is the same.
Giroud is doing himself no good taking shots at a legend who was 100 times better.
Henry's timing was completely normal, had we had a CF that nicked us that game we'd have had the slimmest hope of a title tilt but as always Giroud fails to unlock tight defences.
Unless the whole team is in full flow he's quite useless and Thierry was spot on he knows all about what it takes to win titles
