"Disgraceful fight.

How on earth can they make at a catch weight of 144 and then introduce a rehydration clause of 155. Porter will be drained making that weight and i think it will effect him during the fight. I have broner winning this. "
====

The only way Broner wins is if Porter is a zombie. Porter is better than Maidana, he will wreck Broner if he's healthy.

Vik where did you hear that Marquez is ready to fight?

I was hearing before that he might even need to retire.

"Porter his better than maidana locke talking out of his backside again."

And how's that Guv?

Porter was a standout amateur and has a better resume than Maidana despite not being around for anywhere near as long as Maidana.

Porter is a better boxer, more athletic, physically stronger, has a better engine, takes a better shot. Maidana hits harder and that's it.

Superb. His trainer wants him to retire. The fighter himself has other plans.

Ok so how are you coming to the conclusion that Marquez is ready to fight or would be ready to fight in September?

I'm the casual? I actually stay up and watch fights every weekend, you check the results on boxrec the next morning, by your own admission

Many fighters have better resumes than Floyd and Joe, keep acting like a simpleton though, it's great entertainment

Thurman indeed has a better resume than Maidana, Chaves and Guerrero are better than anyone Maidana has beaten
---
this is the problem why fighters don't fight each other and protect their precious 0, fans like you see a loss and think a fighters rubbish without having actually watching him fight, you see a guy with 20-0 record and get super excited because of that 0 on his record

Thurman is my favourite fighter you dummy, I've been bigging him up before anyone.

I don't care about no 0s, Maidana's resume is simply weak. He has fought a good level of competition, but his RESUME is weak. His only notable win is against a blown up hypejob in Broner.

You've obviously never seen me post...

His level of competition is good..
But his resume is weak...

Il let you work that one out

Yes...

The fact that you don't understand the difference between the two tells me a lot about the size of your brain.

Resume is like your CV, it includes your achievements, losses aren't achievements.

Level of competition is everyone you've fought.

There, broke down into baby crums for you.

Why is it that on this boxing forum it usually turns into being a slanging match between a couple of posters on who is more knowledgeable and who is a casual
Some of us might not have as much knowledge about certain fighters than someone else but that doesn't make someone a casual
A casual to me is someone that only watches the big hyped fights and then thinks they know the ins and outs of boxing
A non casual is someone that will watch fights almost every week regardless of who the boxers are
This bickering always makes me reluctant to post on these boxing forums as i'd probably get called a casual by someone which i know i'm not
Come on lads, sort it out, there aren't many real boxing fans left
