Paper can be very dangerous, a paper cup thrown from the top tier of the Copland floored Stan petrov, the poor lad had to be stretchered off the park
The judge and the perpetrator took a somewhat different, less facetious view

Steve have you ever been hit by a paper cup, facking painful things , highly dangerous is paper
I'm flabbergasted it went to court and he was actually punished but I think his reaction and his punishment is more to do with his previous
Geeeze
Paper
It was paper for goodness sake
Honest to fek chaps
Paper
I agree, paper is only paper and no harm done
HOWEVER! would it have been a tough job to get the stewards to have stopped them? I understand at a £5 a ticket folk who not usually have been there were but fgs just tell them to stop
No punishment needed, common sense would be enough?
As Duke said, and made me giggle, "No paper, no party"
what if the paper had a brick in it
Leo
our neds have way better aim imo
I'm surprised no one has went on about the lads behind the goal not giving the ball back it did start to p!!ss me off right enough
Kids ha I got fun
No lighters
No coins
No bloodshed
It all added to the atmosphere in a safe no problem situation
So, Duke - it's ok to throw unwelcome objects at opposition players to put them off their game as long as they are only paper?

Some guy was to close to me. A Proper Charlie. Ha Ha

My name is not Charlie......
In this instance I would say yes
They were randomly chucked on
Better that than lighters or phones
All good natured fun which added to the spectical
It's great to see kids so engaged without bother

Or feathers and oose and dust are acceptable
If honest I have wanted to throw something but always managed to contain myself, to be fair I would have couped over the barrier and fell doon the stairs if I ever did
That and I couldnae hit a coo in the erse with a banjo
I think when you throw missiles that draw blood from the ref or hit players taking a corner with a lighter that's not on
Broony got (quite rightly) hit by a pie last week and he apparently laughed it's official
* I don't know what it's official means
I'm amazed we are talking about such a good natured event
Ah ffs Lauds can we not just say that throwing anything is wrong, we aw have our warmers?
I was at that game and take no pride in the throwing, none at all, Broony getting hit with the pie was wrong, he was classy enough to make nothing of it
#topman
Duke - thanks, an honest answer to an honest question - not quite so convinced that the Hibs players felt it was good natured fun or if you will feel the same should the Celtic fans do it next season - but we can agree to disagree
For years fans have thrown toilet rolls onto the park and it makes a right mess, but so facking it adds to the atmosphere
From 1978 onwards throwing paper has been a good atmosphere builder
The only issue was the hibs keeper using it as an excuse to waste time
Strangely later he was in a hurry and was no longer worried
Saying it was not an issue is fair enough, saying it was not nippy is a reach, could have been nipped in the bud easy enough but I am only really commenting cause I am both drunk and fairly bored chaps
