Depends what's in the paper.
rfc, it was nowt to write home about but it could have been stopped earlier imo, no harm done just a wee bit sad that it was allowed to continue as long as it did, just my opinion to be fair
I laughed so much last night at the mock o'ffended telling me dangerous throwing paper was , we had Stevie, Leo, show, Barry and a few others I was laughing so much at them that poor wee magnum filtered me what will I do now that the most boring kuunt on here has filtered me
Doesnt matter what it is, players shouldnt haverl to play while things are thrown at them.
All players, rangers, hibs anyone. Even if it is just paper because thats how things start and end up escalating
Paper throwing was amusing to start with as was not returning the ball but it should have been nipped in the bud. What are the stewards paid for. Anyway no harm done and that wee Hibby that kept placing the ball outside the arc at corner kicks deserved a hit on the back o the heid with something.

Their keeper seemed to fancy using it for time wasting tactics but remarkably after we scored he wasn't time wasting
Poor Stan petrov was hospitalised after being hit by a paper cup at ibrox , paper is so dangerous
I think if Rangers had lost the match we wouldn't be discussing this
Aye Laudrup, that,s one of the things that really bugs me.... wasting time.
I hate time wasting in games, i also hate when a ball is ushered out by a defender for about 30 yards and if a striker gets by him for it the defender usually gets a foul. I think thats an obstruction with no intent to play the ball.
On the paper, it doesnt matter if its paper or not, things shouldnt be thrown at players.
Great day for fitbaw. The sun is beating down on Nitten (Newtongrange) about 6 miles south of Edinburgh..The Teddy Bears to hump hibs 2-1.
Cant see hibs overturning this.
Tbh even at 1-0 i couldnt see it. Think rangers will come up now.
Tbh i wanted qots up, quite a likeable little team
JFK, you are right ,stuff should not be thrown at players but in the grand scheme of things throwing paper does not register. I remember in the good old days when throwing bottles was common place.
good old days
I just think there should be no line for such things mate, thats how they escalate.
On the point about it only being an issue since hibs lost, what if it happend to rangers and they lost, might have been an issue then.
What if hibs retaliate and go one further u know, its possible today.
JFK, the problem is if you ban throwing paper where does it stop ......toilet rolls.....streamers...that confetti stuff. the powers that be can't even stop flares or fireworks. The escalation thing and Hibs fans returning the favour is a worry though.
I think its more the ban of throwing things at people than in general mate
I hope hibs dont retaliate, it will end up going to far.
Anyway, back to the good old days. At games my fav. tipple was a half bottle of Eldorado tucked discreetly inside my sock. Used to have it finished by half time and then filled the empty bottle with urine ( making your way to the toilet was near impossible). Some of the naughtier lads would hurl the pee filled bottle in the general direction of the referee. Aaaah happy days.

"I laughed so much last night at the mock o'ffended telling me dangerous throwing paper was"
I can only imagine how funny you'd find it if it were Celtic fans throwing stuff onto the pitch at players.. You'd be the first on here Laudrup demanding that Celtic be fined, fans arrested, the stadium closed etc. You're the biggest hypocrite on here
I understand that it was only paper, but what's to say nobody had rolled something more dangerous with the paper and it caused damage? Would you still be laughing then, or trying to defend the idiotic actions of your team's fans?
Players and officials shouldn't be subjected to fans throwing objects at them, no matter what those objects are. I'm sure you were as fine with Hugh Dallas was hit all those years ago as you were with your own fans doing the same thing.

I don't think the issue is that it could have injured someone.
The issue was that it affected the game. Hibs had a lot of wasted corners, and it must be difficult to whip a corner in while you are being pelted with paper.
Surely everyone agrees with that?
