I say give him one more season, maybe he'll improve on this season's CL campaign now that he has a bit of experience in the competition

No more chances for me. Hes not even looking close to winning a cup in 3 yrs. Pathetic appearance in CL. The man is clueless.

Yes, after three years of Brendan being in charge the knee jerkers are all over the place

Not the lost SAS excuse again? Remember we sold Suarez and replaces him with trash that Rodgson had final say on.

If it weren't for the fact that Jurgem K is immediately available, I would support giving him another year. That way all of his signings can be given the opportunity to redeem themselves and him.
But Klopp could also possibly bring the cream of B. Dortmund with him, and that would be interesting.

Our defence was poor last season, conceding 50. The excuse was we were playing 2 strikers and going all out attack each game so were bound to concede. Fair enough.

After spending £120m, including £30m on defenders (trying to replace probably the best defender at the club) and £10m on a DM, we've conceded 48 goals in the league this season - 2 goals less. Rodgers cannot coach a defence adequately. We had to change the system to 3 at the back otherwise it would have been even worse, and 3 at the back was packing bodies behind the ball and blunting our attack.

As for the attack - Yes we lost Sturridge for most of the season. But again, we spent £75m on attacking players. And not one of them has had an impact or been utilised correctly. I'm no fan of Balotelli, but it was painfully obvious that he plays better with a strike partner and only had one on about 3 occasions.

For the last few months, the team have had to change formation almost every single game because we were getting outplayed. We have no style of play. Players are being out of position and exposed when its been obvious they are not suited to that position - Can at right back for example, Markovic or Lallana at WB, Coutinho on the right.

Anyone using the excuse of the transfer committee - Rodgers is on the committee. And I'm fairly sure every club has people who discuss targets with the manager, not just us.

He's a goner imo.

Oh and to add to my point above about the defence - we had a hell of a lot more injuries last season in defence.

And we were utter shít in Europe as well this season.

Every season so far: appalling in the transfer market.

This transfer window: we need to spend and spend effectively.

Generally, BR can't be trusted in the transfer market and so shouldn't be here when the window opens.

Perhaps people were knee jerking after our worst start to the season for umpteen years. But, I think there been sufficient evidence to suggest that BR most go.

No knee jerks, just looking at the evidence.

If Sturridge was fit, then the odds were that he would've scored at least 10+ goals, at the very least 6 + more points!

Top 4 would've been far more realistic.

Now people reading this will think I'm backing Rodgers due to I'm pointing at other things (well IMO there is a bigger picture, thats just how I think).

Rodgers got his signings wrong last season and has to take a lot of blame for our season, however you get Klopp in and he spends a big kitty and messes things up??

What happens then??

Next Season, the young players/new signings will be a season better and year older!

Either way Sterling won't be weighing us down.

The Gerrard saga will be behind us!

'if' and this is a big 'IF' BR has signed the right strikers/players, then there will be more goals and if BR doesn't succeed then there will be zero excuses.

And I will be saying GET RID if he effs it up. My honest opinion.

Kloop is unproven in the EPL

9-2 and losing to Villa in a gimme semi-final. Rodgers is a mess. He must leave now.

Do other teams not get injuries? Our rivals for top 4 (Arsenal and Utd) had far far worse injury problems than us this season. If they hadn't, they may well have been further ahead. Can't use that as an excuse.

Next season is rebuilding regardless. Assuming Klopp is an option - would you rather give the opportunity and a transfer budget to a man who has failed to win anything in his 3 seasons here and failed in Europe.

Or to a man who has won league titles, cups, and taken his team to a CL final? All whilst spending far less than Rodgers.

When Rodgers arrived we weren't a ready made team?

Klopp is an options don't get me wrong, but he hasn't had the best of seasons tbf and they finished 7th, that's a position below us!!

I have my opinion and you have yours, maybe next year ours will be the same one way or another?

Ancelotti. Now, there's a name. Apparently Rafa is taking his place at Real. If he were given the offer, which would he choose, City or us?

I hadn't thought about him, but he is available. City's money might prove too attractive, and on present form none of our first team would get in there.

You make some valid points mate, but you need to stop with the Kenny stuff. It totally murders any credibility for you.
