I take it you don't realise they've all been earning 60k a week
I made a comment a few weeks ago about us blowing the wage structure to sign one senior pro on good money for next season.
It is our last chance to do this as this is our last year of parachute payments. It worked under Jones it might work again.
It won't happen though. Jackett is a huge fan of wage parity on the dressing room and won't jeopardise what he thinks he is currently building.
oh for a modern day version of andy king
We don't have to spend big to bring in that experience.
So many fans think about bringing in that one player but don't think about the effect it has on the 20 players in that dressing room when a 34 year old who can't run walks in on three times their salary.
I'm all ears Pundit. How do we get an Ince or an Irwin without blowing the wage structure? Or by experience do you mean lower league journeyman?
I don't see it.....the youngsters know all about their potential earning power.....I'd happily stump up the cash for one or two seasoned pro's

Get your wallet out then Tino.
You can't buy quality footballers for peanuts but you can buy $hat for huge amounts of green.

how you keepin Ohso?
I dont care what their potential wages would be - I wouldnt want that list of QPR rejects anywhere near Molineux - Barton and SWP especially!!
I prefer Bullys recommendation of Mulumbu to be honest.
Wouldn't be a bad shout at all Vinnie but won't happen due to wages.
I did point out that wages would be an issue although, Im pretty sure that all of these guys know that if they wanted to join an ambitious, locally owned, well run, Championship club, that they're not going to get more than £25k per week.
And there's the problem, these guys have options that Irwin and Ince didn't really have back in 2003, MLS far east etc.
All the QPR players mentioned would be on zillions and as someone already said; above Jackett's and Wolves' wage structure.
We are not shopping at Harrods these days (not that Zamora, Ferdinand etc.. are Harrod's class), more likely trying to get bargains from Lidl and Aldi.
Some expensive salaries amongst that lot, cant see any of them ending up at Molineux. As Vinnie says, don't think I would want any of them anyway.
I dont think Mulumbu will end up at Wolves either Tatter. Wages for one and I also think he is exactly the sort of player that can stay in the PL, even if it is with a lower end/newly promoted team.
I wouldn't want any of them. They are all mercenaries looking for one last pay day and none of them looked like they cared about QPRs impending doom in the last few weeks of the Premier League season.
I wouldn't touch any of those mentioned with a barge pole.
Why would we?

Would you rather we signed Yannick Sagbo or gave Leon Clarke a one year contract extension?
