Flamini has just confirmed that he's staying next season. Looking less and less likely that we'll bring in a new midfielder
When Flamini came on at Old Trafford it was like Wenger wanted us to lose. The guy is atrocious

what happened to his Watford move???
as for Vidal not gonna happen there looking to strengthen their team they have some fine additions already lined up.
Flamini has a year left on his contract, contrary to popular belief.
that said, that does not necessarily mean he is staying, its only May. Lots can happen between now and August.
as for Vidal, he looks average when I have seen him, admittedly, not seen him loads, but enough to think there are better options, MS at Southampton being one.
Ramsey is the most similar to him in our team. This would sound deluded, but I see little he'll offer us that Ramsey can't. He scores goals and gets into good offensive positions - so does Ramsey. Even more when you exclude Vidal's penalties. He's got tons of energy. So does Ramsey. Ramsey actually creates more per game, gets on the ball more, passes more, and at a higher completion rate, and dribbles more and with greater success. Defensively, Vidal has that bit more tenacity and tactical discipline. It would take a lot of money to sign him, but I'm not sure he would really be value for money - especially with greater priority elsewhere.
Can see Arteta renewing his contract too. I want Cazorla to stay. Diaby can leave but he doesn't require a replacement.
Can't see how we can add anybody to this midfield and keep everyone happy with playing time
: 'Arsenal have always been the club of my dreams. Ray Parlour was my hero as a child.' - Arturo Vidal
And not forgetting he's 28 and would still cost a lot. Perhaps, if Santi left, then it's a good, but different, replacement.
Look at sky sports. You are signing a midfielder

Link?? I read that he is focused on FA cup final so he doesn't want to talk about his future

In the same interview was asked if the final will be his last game in an Arsenal shirt and he said he'll stay till the end of his contract next season
As far as I'm concerned, the only position where we should be spun.king big money (£30m and above) this season is a top class striker. Seems like a waste in the strongest area of the team to be signing a player like Vidal.
Sky sources say you have made an approach for Ki from Swansea. No joke
Arseblog latest story has an interview transcript with Flamini and he answers "no, no, I have one more year at the club" when asked whether Saturday will be his last game for Arsenal.
he says more, but if you want to know what, read it.

Ki is a good, well-rounded player. One of the most underrated players in the league. Not sure why we'd need him though.
Agreed not a bad player at all but would be very underwhelmed if we signed him and I'd imagine you would be the same

Shirts sale? Arsenal trying hard to get into the Asia market. Park and Ryo have failed massively. At least Ki can kick a ball.

Ramsey can dream of the technical ability Vida possesses.
Vidal's an overrated mess. If we wanted that type of player we should've just got Khedira on a free.
Although I still feel Arsene isn't convinced with Coquelin reckon he wants a sitting player with better distribution. Hence testing Santi in the sitting role. Could look to convert Vidal.
The Ki rumours make sense in fairness.
I'd take Vidal because he's a good player and will bring some more bite to our MF which only Coquelin provides but as Sheriff says we're better off spending big money on a CF, that's the key
Agree with Sheriff. We have no need for Vidal when we have Ramsey, who is also younger.
I haven't seen Vidal play much, but whenever I have, I can't see what the fuss is aBout.
I like Ki too, but don't see why we'd need him.
