Aldo 4th round TKO.
3 rounds of quick, powerful leg kicks and counters.

Mcgregor is nothing but a hype job. He hasn't faced any top opposition in the division. Plus the UFC have done well to avoid match ups against wrestlers who would probably smother and neutralise the overrated mcgregor.
Aldo is tested and proven. He has been 5 rounds and has experienced tough fights. Aldo will take mcgregor into deep waters and drown him.
Jose Aldo win Via UD
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aldo is nothing but a decision machine. Whoever McGregor has faced in the UFC, he has blown away with ease. None of these Featherweights are on his level.
Out of Aldo's 7 fights in the UFC, he's had a measly 2 finishes, McGregor has 4 in 5 fights.
Aldo has been beaten mentally, Conor has broken him.
McGregor via 2nd Round KO/TKO.
It's the best fight the UFC has made in a long time, I can totally understand people thinking Aldo will win, but to not recognise the threat Conor possesses and to call him a hype job shows you as either bias or stupid.

To say aldo has been beaten mentally is absurd
You do know his back story right? People like him do not break mentally.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Conor is in his head. On the World Tour you could see how flustered and bothered Also was about McGregor, his coaches then tried to cheer him up by saying that he was in Conor's head.

The fact that you buy into connors hype shows you have not watched MMA for a long time.
Aldo is a complete fighter. Mcgregor has not faced the top guys in the division. Fact. When a fighter gets pushed without facing a top guy he is a hype job. Now im not saying he is not a good fighter but a elite fighter he is not.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been watching MMA for almost 10 years, I'm hardly a newbie, and my opinions are based on watching him fight, nothing else.
Aldo is great, but I think Conor has the perfect style to beat him.

The perfect style to beat aldo is a crisp striker with good wrestling. You can't stand with him for 5. The fact that conors ground game is non existent tells me he could be eating a lot of keg kicks.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then Chad Mendes would be that guy, but he failed, TWICE. Never seen a fighter with as much self belief as McGregor, that is huge in MMA, Chad Mendes lost against Aldo before he set foot in the cage.
You haven't even seen McGregor on the floor long enough to evaluate his ground game. His striking is that good and effective.
Aldos last 5 fights have been against the #2/3 guy twice (Mendes) and the #2/3 guy (Edgar) #5 guy (Lamas) and then the Korean Zombie.
Mcgregor's have been a non ranked Brimage, a non ranked Siver, Poirier was barely top 10, a non ranked Brandao and maybe at a push a top 15 in Holloway.
The difference in quality of the last 5 fights is so big.
Mendes and Edgar would give Conor trouble.
I like CM as well, don't get me wrong. He's good to watch and fun to listen to and he's different to anyone else on the roster at the minute.
But Aldo is 500 times better than anyone CM has even thought about fighting before.
His best win (as in highest ranked opponent) is Poirier.

You're just making stuff up now, you know nothing about his ground game, he has shown no weaknesses on the ground at all since getting into the UFC, he completely dominated Holloway on the ground with torn ACL.
He stepped into Brandao's blackbelt guard and beat him up without thinking twice.
If you are basing his ground game on losing 5 years ago before he really started training BBJ seriously then you are in for a surprise.
I'm sure training with the likes of Gunnar Nelson for years has helped on that side of MMA.
Leg kicks are unlikely to be much of an issue coz Conor is a southpaw, who has injured and broken legs in the past while checking leg kicks.
I won't be surprised if Aldo barely throws them.

My believe in Conor is based on not who he's beat but the way he's beat them, it's similar to seeing Jon Jones go through average fighters in his first 5 UFC fights, after only 2 or 3 fights into his UFC career I knew he was the best 205 fighter in the UFC, it was just a matter of getting the title shot.
McGregor has beaten everyone that the UFC has put in front of him.

I remember when people claimed that Cub Swanson deserved a shot before McGregor and would actually beat McGregor in a fight. You claim that Holloway is in top 15 at a push yet he ruined Cub at his own game. Conor beat Holloway convincingly with a torn ACL.
Just to clarify, Holloway is ranked 5th in the division.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I see Edgar, Mendes and Aldo all being a big test for Conor but if I was forced to bet on those fights I would choose Conor, his extra length would be very telling against Mendes and Edgar, and I don't believe any of them would be able to hold Conor down for long enough to negate his dominance on the feet.
Conor loses and his hype train is derailed forever

Yeah he wasn't ranked #5 when he fought CM though was he!!
Prior to fighting CM he had been schooled by Poirier in the first round, then beat a TUF fighter In Justin Lawrence & struggled past Leonard Garcia for a split decision win before losing to Denis Bermudez.
He was barely top 15 when he fought CM...like I stated earlier
