This inventor chap is utterly paranoid. I've barely even posted since the cup doubt WB2 has too. Why do you think I think we have brought the CL home?
Since before the season started I have said we are the third best team in the country and that our best chance of success with this current squad is almost certainly under Wenger but I would reserve judgement depending on our perfomances against the big teams. I also hoped we could push on to become a title winning team before Wengers contract was up but that it would be a very difficult task considering the spending power of city, Chelsea and united
Pretty much the general consensus now. Your silly "he is just doing what we told him to do" is quite frankly ridiculous. Your opinion at start of season is that he had no hope of having any success, we should sack him immeadiately and that he was clueless inept etc etc.
Now because you know you were hopelessly wrong you are trying to change the goal posts to say I thought Arsenal were the best team in the world
There was always negativity around Arsenal for many years as well which contributed to the bottling loser mentality, that's also down to Wenger but I'm sure the constant external pressure doesn't help. Moyes/LVG shows how much easier it is to manage when everyone's behind the team instead of trying to force the manager out. It's actually fúcked up because Wenger was blamed for a lack of ambition when the new stadium was purely down to the ambition and vision to make us one of the richest and best clubs in the world.
Why does there have to be an either/or?
I would like Wenger to go upstairs to a directors position when his contract finishes. His style suits that of director these days than a tracksuit manager.
I didn't shoot you down at all, that was all Godfather, I just thought it was funny
To be fair you can't expect to write the article you have and not be called out on it though. I appreciate and respect the spirit in which you've meant it but whichever way you cut it, it's a climb down from a Wenger-slating soap box.
You're lucky it's only Godfather shooting, obviously a good few posters haven't seen it yet. You've probably got more to come.
What does AKB and WOB stand for.
Neither. As you've alluded to Arsene was going nowhere with some of his approaches to games and the transfer market. However he listened and learned and Arsenal benefitted.
The reality is that many of those most critical were proved right however I can see some of the deluded ones are already rewriting history.
At the end of the day if Wenger continues to moderate his ego and do things the right way not just his way then I'll support him as will the club financially.

In what way have you been proven right. List one thing that you said that Wenger has "listened to"
You thought wenger was past it, and should be sacked whilst the so deluded ones thought he was the man for the job. The irony of your" re writing history" comment is unbelievable

I can imagine you now, frantically reading through all my articles and comments. Welling up with a combination of rage and desperation until finally you find an article that offers no constrictive criticism because we decided to go into a season with 2 senior CBs and again no competent DM.
After last summers awful dealings (when the article was written) we blew another chance at the title. We finished well because Wenger did exactly what people had said and brought in a DM that actually suited our side (a player he was ready to offload).
"last summers awful dealings" ended up with us making the best signing of the summer transfer window by any club in the world you absoute clown
We didnt win the title because of injuries to our 1st team and because Chelsea and City had better players and Chelsea had immense luck with injuries. This is fact it is no longer disputed even by the most steadfast critic. The only ones who dispute it are morons like yourself who are too cowardly to accept they made a mistake. Like a man that has been castrated.
If Coquelin had performed well all season and we had bought Gabriel in summer we would still have not won the title. In fact no team will win the title with 8 or 9 players injured , half of them first teamers, even the teams with infinite cash.
We performed just as well last season with Arteta in Dm role when we had barely any injuries. That was with a far inferior team to what we have now, with players like Santi, Ozil, Giroud stepping their game up immensely and without the world class, top 3 player in the premiership, Sanchez
Clueless.

Well done wenger for listening after 5 years of telling him
personally i wanted a manager who sees a problem and fixes it ASAP rather than using the same tactics for 5/6 seasons until he finally gets it into his head he needs to change.
We could have won something long before 2014 and 2015 but he wasnt proactive enough.
Hence a reactive manager who does it when its too late.
Other managers will change something really quick when the problem occurs. Wenger is always 2 steps behind.
time for change.
And this is spot on what i said
Utterly crazy
Why do all the loonies decide to support Arsenal?
