Already is, im not gonna say its perfect as its still flawed but this year gameplay wise PES is head and shoulders above Fifa - Fifa still wins lisensing and looks though

I remember playing Pro evo a few years back and it seemed so kick and rush, isit like that now? what are its best features simon. P.S. we're football fans, who really cares about licensing(never got people who used that argument)

There's your problem nick a few years ago it was very bad 13 is up there with one of the worst footy games I have played 14 was a step in the right direction and fundamentally broken in the physics and reffing departments. 15 improved a lot on 14 and you have a game that feels like football. Shooting, passing etc all feel good and you ability to score any type of goal is limitless. The AI I also find is really good and the teams often act like the teams they are representing. Couple of things I find annoying are the refing (but I think this has always been weak in every football game ever) and you still get some interesting pinball situations due to the physics engine but the game reacts much better than in 14. What format are you on?

PS4.
Might have to download a demo atleast. Use to adore the Pro evo series. Went to fifa around 2008

I would do mate - I don't think it is available on UK psn anymore but I know it is on south american (the version I have) so if you need help hitting up an address here let me know, but I love the demo (waiting for 16 now as its only a couple of months off) and I have the full game on the 360, though this has been relegated to second TV so is a little dusty. Also check out my YouTube at simonwest80 I have a couple of goals uploaded, and if you like I can upload a full match

Seen the PES 2016 trailer? Nice choice of music, recalling PES 2 or 3 I believe. Graphics look pretty good, new animations for physicality (although hopefully they don't go too far in the direction of FIFA where every game consists of holding L2 and mashing circle to hold players back). A couple of new stadiums on show, one of which is Arena Corinthians (scene of the WC2014 opening game). ML looks modernised with plenty of off-field interaction and lots of depth in terms of stats etc.

Custom celebrations are in though. They were sometimes good in FIFA (mass Billy Elliot celebrations in Pro Clubs) but eventually became a chore.

Not bad at all - I am not bothered how it looks but happy they have improved the graphics a lot recently. Even to a point were it is pretty close on the pitch Fifa 15 vs pes2015. It would be good to see an improved master league as this has always been better than ultimate team IMO.

The worst thing about UT is the fact it just doesn't reward good/realistic play or building a unique, diverse team. Apparently trading isn't very good any more with the addition of price ranges. More comparable to MyClub which I don't really know much about as I haven't played it.

FIFA's career mode is pretty good off the pitch but last time I played it it was riddled with bugs and glitches and it got stale on the pitch while PES was the opposite.

Here we go nick jumped on in between bloodborne the other night and had a few games: https://youtu.be/6aJ9E5Iuo9w

This was the best one and I think pretty much highlights all I love about the series, and hate.

Pros:
You can have a bit of magic from good players but they aren't op and can't do it all the time (my goal)
It's not scripted and you have a chance to change things (their 1st and 3rd goals)
You will be punished by the AI and their good players
The feel and eb and flow of the game (2nd half)

Cons:
Ref always books for silly little challenges
Players are sometimes a little too static
Some random player movements especially in the players defence

Some other things to consider is this is a demo so I don't bother much with tactics as you can't save them so I am using standard tactics for the team.

Lol that PES match is the scrappiest I've ever seen, but I still think FIFA looks too easy create chances just through sprinting and through balls. Look forward to trying the demos when I get PS4.

It was quite intense at the time lol. It only started getting going in the second half tbf.

But like you say FIFA is so basic in terms of game play, when pes there is so much more to consider
