Why is Khan under the impression that he's the star of the welterweight division ?
He's done little at this weight yet and doesn't have a world title in this division like Kell Brook.
Brook is World Champion, Khan isn't.
Khan should be begging Brook for a fight if he thinks he can beat him easily. With the IBF world title he'd have so much more leverage to get a shot at Mayweather or any of the big names in the division for that matter.
Khan's logic doesn't stack up at all.

However I dont believe Kell Brook and Eddie Hearn are as sincere as they make out regarding this fight. I think Eddie wants to cash out on Kell Brook now by using Khan. Kell gets paid peanuts compared to Con and he's not gna get any of the big names in the division to come over here and fight for his belt. None of Al Haymon's guys will come here that's for sure so who is he left with to fight...
I wouldn’t be surprised if Khan, now advised by Haymon, has convinced himself he will be the heir to Mayweather’s throne, and thinks he can act accordingly. His interviews have always been terrible but his newfound contradiction of begging for a Mayweather fight while at the same time dissin the most viable money fight out there for him has taken it to a whole new level of idiocy.
I agree Brook and certainly Hearn are not as transparent as they claim but its clear to all they have pushed for this fight. Brook’s interviews are entertaining if only for his word finding difficulties.
On a more basic level, should they share a ring, its also clear to me Khan is not confident of victory, whereas Brook thinks he’ll obliterate Khan. Brook does not seem as confident when it comes to the likes of Thurman et al.
