The reason we don't get World Cups, despite pretty much having collectively the best stadiums in the world, is down to Blatter. He hates us, don't know why, maybe because the PL makes so much money and he doesn't get any of it, who knows?
Anyone associated with English football are extremely entitled to detest this man.
Disappointing from a country that I thought harboured similar feelings towards Blatter.
Where are their balls?
OP
What a poor attitude you have.
I just feel that sometimes you need to play the situation. Similar to how Germany wants to come across as politically correct.

This is why Blatter is going to get away with this. Because UEFA, despite it's preening from Platini can't agree amongst itself.
Top marks to our FA by sticking to it's principles for once.

Our own FA can be very inept at the best of times but I respect their integrity. They always seem to want to do right by the game when many others don't.

"It was England being screwed by a bad goal-line call that instigated FIFA using goal-line technology."
Was it? Thought it cam win a few years after that. Seem to remember Blatter at the time saying they still didn't need it

and what other countries FAs seem to NOT want to do right by the game ?

All those against a potential boycott clearly.
This has got nothing to do with England hosting major tournaments.
This is about FIFA and the fact that it is corrupt to it's core.
As a member organisation it needs it's members to stand up and be counted. I'm pleased that the FA is doing just that, but it will need more than one FA to make a meaningful statement.
I think Germany are just trying to play things down at the moment - I'm not sure anyone is coming out and proposing a boycott.
Long way to go.

That was just incidental. It could have been any country it happened to. It was that much of a refereeing blunder that they had no choice but to consider GL technology.

We just need to shut up.
The rest of the world are sick of us
Let's have our moral stance and integrity just for us.
be the bigger man... we just wont tell them or it will look arrogant

We should give them the finger and go it alone. Who needs Germany anyway....bet we could convince USA to join us.

maybe they think a boycott and subsequence destruction of the world game would be damaging to the sport?

Nah it's just that they have no moral integrity whatsoever.

The Germans themselves won the 2006 WC under suspicious circumstances. They had there turn and fun and don't give a fek about England not hosting in our lifetime.
