On a side note Vardy is being interviewed on SSN.....
Pearson will maybe get until Xmas this time... I hope he has learnt that you have to try to win and not just try to not lose games.Good signing to start with.....
I thought the Jamie Vardy interview yesterday was more telling and testament to man management skills of Pearson.
I believe Cambiasso came through a recommendation from Mourinho that the set up was very professional at our club.
I personally don't understand how anyone can question Pearson's man management skills personally. Tactics, media relations yes, but man management is clearly one of his strong points.
I think it's also fair to say that he's made a big improvement tactically and just appears to be able to develop himself as well as others.
Arro- Your big improvement was when he decided that our backs were to the wall and we had nothing to loose.Dropping RDL and Nugent injured did not harm us.
Mid season, we had no style of play and we were painful to watch.Nige was a defender and should of been ashamed of himself on how poor we defended.First goal in the Man U game was RDL over committing himself........ yes he won the ball and laid off vardy after but giving him a four year contract and continuing to play him to justify the fact was moronic!!!
Gosh - Have to admit that's a glowing reference for Pearson........... could almost have been issued by the Press Officer as a club article
Was signed a one year contract!
Could almost have been issued by the Press Officer as a club article

Yeah could have been but it wasn't. It was said by a player who scored in the bernabeu this season and is the captain of his national team who has decided to come and play for our club. In part because of our managers ability to sell his vision of our club which is surprising is it not John Gee since you appear to feel that the club isn't going in the right direction
I can almost hear John Cleese saying -
Yes, well, he MAY have dragged us up from League One to 14th in the Premier League, he MAY have got us two titles, he MAY have completely overhauled the squad to bring in young talent and established world class stars who have won titles and played at the highest level in the Champions League, he MAY have increased the revenue of the football club astronomically and he MAY have given the supporters so much joy and happiness that national journalists have commented several times that the atmosphere at the King Power stadium was one of the best in the country last season and the away support was amongst the best and noisiest in the division, but APART from THAT - what has Nigel Pearson ever done for us????

When you put it like that it seems disingenuous or even foolish to question our progress looking backwards. Looking forwards and speculating whether we are continuing on the right track seems the only thing worthy of debate.
