well 20s.. he bearly scored a run in the IPL. not scored a run in the county championship and got 23 last night. when Middlesex fell short in the 20/20 game.
yet hes England odi captain
Seems scoring runs now doesn't matter..he did well for 2 years and been poor for 3 years.. hes not upto it.. over-rated aint the word.

The usual will happen in the Odi series.. New Zealand will bat first get 350..England will start off well. then it will get down to Morgan.. he will lob the ball over short fine leg for.then get a quick 20. then either get bowled of get caught at deep midwicket.

I can't see him retaining the captaincy if his rubbish form continues. NZ probably aren't the best team to play to capture form..

Get James Vince in ffs

James Taylor or Joe Root should be ODI captain.

Morgan should just concentrate on batting.

yeah I would give the job to james taylor.. But wont happen.. The selectors kiss bum.. no matter who is selecting the players.. The core of squad usually remains the same.
It took them 2 years to get James Taylor into the team. They are biased beyond belief
Most England fans would probably agree Eoin Morgan aint upto it..
But who cares about that?? The ecb obviously don't.

The usual collapse from England..Apart from the normal Root score and 50 from Morgan the rest have failed..

of course you need to give the new players time to bed in. But they gotta help themselves and get a couple of decent scores in this series.

The bowlers have zero chance on these kind of wickets.. You pitch it up you get whacked over cover for 6 you bowl short in length you get carved for 6.. You bowl straight you get flicked down to fine leg for 4.
Saying that.. Chris Jordan is not an internatonal bowler.. everyone can see this apart from the England management.
