What category/criteria are these lists now?

Is it just me...or are these film lists rather tiring...

best films per decade.

The River (1992) will be going in soon though I suspect.

Was just going to mention actually, that the scene I'm watching atm (it's a drama/dark comedy), this guy's mum has lent him what I'm sure is her vibrator, to rub against his neck which he's injured.

You wouldn't want me to!
My copy wasn't very clear (and the plot required the room in which this took place to be quite dark anyway).
I went back again and viewed a clearer copy (but which had spanish subtitles) to take my screenshots, and i realised what the scene was!!!!!!!!!!
OMG

I'm glad I did because I'd missed a vital bit of the story!!
If you like gay cinema, then you might find that one interesting!
Other ones of Ming-Laing are Vive L'Amour which has a light gay aspect and happens to be one of my favourite ever films. His more recent Days I think is also a gay film but I've not watched it.
A couple of the celebrated Thai director Apichatpong Weerasethakul's are gay too I think.

I thought you'd completed it already. Seems it's an open list though, which makes sense given how many films are made each year.

Looks like The River is 1997, though. At least that what a quick Google search suggests.

Btw, I'm not too keen on the label 'gay cinema'. Seems pretty reductive, imo.

What's this list now? I see it's one per decade, but I'm not sure I've seen any of them other than La La Land - and going by that I doubt it's an outright best film category, unless you're looking to create debate.

By the way, out of curiosity, what's your criteria for classifying the nationality of a film and country name spelling? Or are you pretty loose on those issues?
