I just hope that Episode 8 isn't a rehash of Empire Strikes Back in the same way that Force Awakens borrowed so heavily from A New Hope.

I'm actually more looking forward to Rogue One than Episode 8.

Watched B v S last night, can see why it's getting such mixed reviews. Is there a thread for discussion without having to worry about Spoilers?

Daredevil season 2 is (in the words of 4zA) grate

I'm up to Episode 8. Punisher has been done really well, can't wait to see where they go with it.

A lot of people did. So far it's scored 73% on IMDb and the average user score on metacritic is about 7.5 out of 10.

There definitely seems to be a huge divide between critic's reviews and reviews from the general public.

Personally I've always been much more open to hearing what normal people have to say about a movie than actual critical reviews.

There does seem to be a bit of a weird media agenda to try to bring this movie down. It's not meant to be anything other than a big blockbuster superhero movie. I don't recall it ever claiming to be the Godfather or anything like that.

Maybe people are just getting tired of all the superhero stuff? Not me though, I am not bothered really. I'd rather focus on the stuff I like instead

I don't think people are getting tired of superhero movies though. As I said reviews from the general public on mainstream sites likes IMDb and metacritic have been surprisingly good when compared to the critics reviews.

In fact there appears to be a huge chasm between the two and the movie has already well surpassed half a billion worldwide after only one week so people are definitely going to watch it.

Money is a poor indicator in my opinion.The mere fact that superman and batman are both in one movie means people will go to watch it regardless of the plot.

Fair enough, the point is that superhero movies in general are still raking it in. Even with lesser known characters like Ant-Man and Deadpool.

Hey Biggish, I thought Deadpool was entertaining enough with some very funny moments although ultimately a bit forgettable. I only saw it recently so maybe I was just expecting more after all the massive hype.

I've been watching Daredevil on Netflix. Best place to watch it as able to watch it in proper high def which is really what it deserves.

You can get a free month with Netflix and there's no contract so you can cancel whenever you want. Normally I use Kodi for all other stuff that you can't get on Netflix.

I had not heard od deadpool so was pleasantly surprised. I loved the David Beckham joke.

Yeah that was funny. The bit in the car at the beginning was hilarious. The tie in with the X-Men didn't quite work for me though.

Excited to watch new Banshee this arvo!

Anyone else keeping up with Gotham? Season 1 was a hit push but this season's been quite good actually. Love the guy playing Penguin

Started watching it last night, thought "oh there's only " was playing poker so had to keep rewinding bits, never realised it was 90 minutes each episode. Got half way through second one. Not bad, bit slow I reckon but a good storyline is building hopefully, anyone seen it?


Hoping it doesn't turn to a God thing which I fear it is going to. Was liking the no God idea.

I actually watched the first episode last night. I was pleasantly surprised actually, it was better than I thought it was going to be. Good twist at the end, the look on people's faces was like 'oh feck', and 'I wasn't expecting that'!!

I think this is the last ever Banshee series, isn't it??

Yup 4th and final season of Banshee. Wish more shows finished after four seasons instead of dragging it out into 5,6 and sometimes 7 inferior seasons.

Better to go out on a high and I have a feeling that this final season of Banshee will be epic
