Oh right ok, Worlds of DC...
well, solo films have been Warner’s strength, so hopefully they recognise chasing `marvel is a foolish exercise. Warner/DC can have the same success, just make a damn good story.

Yup and there's so much more mileage to be had from doing separate stories, it's limitless really. There really was no need for Warner Bros to try and mimic that. Not as closely anyway.

All these Marvel movies tying together has been fantastic to watch but I can't help but feel that we've seen the best of the MCU now. Not really sure what else they have to show us.

If Warner Bros can play their cards right then we have a huge range of good DC movies to watch over the next decade or more. I want a properly done Green Lantern Corps movie as well.

Well ok, now, unlike Mike who was tired. I was a bit charged. Had a FluffanNuttah from Walburgers. Amazing!
So,when it comes to the film, I gotta say, I really liked it.
Maybe I don’t know the Godzilla lore well enough, but it gave me what I wanted. Huge freaking monsters smashing the crap out of everything.
Some of the imagery was amazing. IMAX in Waterloo. Stunning. Yes everything is shot in the dark, but I wasn’t lost.
All in all, a good time was had.
I think I like this one more than Edwards film, mainly cos this film keeps its pace, unlike the other when we lose Cranston, and the film suffers for it.
Strangely I didn’t find any of the cliched characters annoying. Actors played their parts fine.
Sure it’s no laugh a minute, but I think it was worth seeing a spectacle like this on the big screen.
My initial score is, 7.0.
Btw, who puts Hundreds of Thousands in a cocktail drink?! Looked like a right doughnut! But tasted great.
Reckon the business will fold within a year. Monday evening. Covent Garden. Less than 10 people inside.
Been opened 2 weeks. That’s not a good start, surely?

If disney hadn't acquired Fox, I would have agreed but X men and F4 have the potential to eclipse what has come, in terms of stories and character development. Nothing will replace the iconic roles of cap and iron man but X men has intriguing characters and storylines that can really draw people in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We've already had countless X-Men movies already though so from a personal perspective I'm not remotely excited by more X-Men, even if it is incorporated into the MCU.

F4 isn't that exciting to me either and this would be the third attempt to make a good F4 movie. I'm not convinced it translates well to the big screen, hence why we've already had three relative flop F4 movies.

I'm looking forward to another Guardians movie but apart from that nothing else excites me about phase four of the MCU.

I’m in agreement with Guv here. I think from phase 5 onwards, when i expect FF and X men to debut, will take Things to another level. So much rich history to pick from. I doubt they’ll reboot ‘Days of Futures past’, cos as a kid, really loved that storyline, then the whole back to the future 2 scenario with Bishop and Kane.

Also, bringing in the Symbiote world, would be amaze balls.
Imagine, Wolverine merging with Venom!!
Mass hysteria!!... mainly on my part.

Robert Pattinson the new Batman.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Certainly an intriguing choice but I am a fan of Matt Reeves and I cannot see him picking Pattison unless he fits the image he requires for Batman.

How goes it saan?

Come for a catch up on the other thread at some point

Guv and Stringer fair enough if you guys are excited by that. Personally it doesn't register that much with me at all as we've already had plenty of X-Men movies. So I'm not sure exactly what Disney can do that much differently that hasn't been done before with it. Same applies for Fantastic Four.

That cars a beauty though.
