Incredibles 2 was miles away from the near perfection of the first one.
Toy Story 4 was enjoyable and a pretty funny, but unnecessary really. Also, the ending is really frustrating tbh.
I really liked Monsters University
But i think it completely upended the dynamic of Mike and Sulley established in the 1st fil

Robin Hood is ok, but half the animation is recycled from other movies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lol thats your stance on a cartoon?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a cheap rush job.

Its a musical dance scene. Who cares? Still a quality movie with memorable and fun characters.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Err, I do. As do many others judging by the fact it barely features in lists and rankings of best Disney movies, always end up near the bottom with the likes of the Black Cauldron.
If a movie recycles an action scene people would criticise it, legitimately, so undermining the work of artists at Disney by rehashing animation is pretty bad imo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
extremely common practice back then.

Still haven't forgive Pixar for that montage at the start of Up
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Either because you cried (like me) or thought it was mawkish and manipulative (like my Dad lol).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not ashamed to say I cried.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Likewise

It was probably the only thing I remembered a few days after originally watching it. Crushing.
Yeah Disney + if you have kids is the best streaming deal available
Other than YouTube I guess

I dont like the idea of the biggest films going straight onto Netflix when they make them

I do miss the five year period we had when you could watch pretty much anything on Netflix and Amazon for very little money.
Sadly all the movie studios realised the value of their IP and stopped licensing them. Instead they built their own streaming services.
You now, realistically, need seven or eight streaming platforms to get all the content compared to maybe just two five years ago.

I always see this argument but think it’s way overblown. You can just sub/unsub frequently. For example find shows you like on Netflix, then once you’re done switch to a different service.
Hardly any of the shows I watch are currently airing, it’s mostly catching up on stuff recommended to me. So it’s not like I have to see 4 different shows right now.

You don’t need to take multiple free trials though. You can unsub when you like them return a few months down the line as a paying customer pretty quickly with little hassle.

I can't speak for all streaming sites but Netflix remembers your card details so you can't bounce around and take multiple trials.

I guess I don’t see the problem here if they remember your card details. You can still subscribe and cancel whenever you like. You can’t use multiple free trials but that’s not a problem.

A month seems like a good amount of time. Long enough to find and start getting into a new show. Not enough to finish it most of the time but that’s fine, don’t mind extending. Then afterwards am free to move on to a different service.

The inversion was a pain to track visually
Im sure if you slow it down and analyse it is all perfect. Thats the level of faith i have in Nolan and his team and im sure its a masterpiece in continuity work
But it wasnt that enjoyable aesthetically for me
I doubt I'll ever watch it
I do like the idea that Michael Caine is desperate to fully retire but that Nolan will not let him
