I am just not hugely into Sorkin - aside from Social Network and Moneyball I can't think of much of his work I like.

I thought West Wing was pompous garbage.

Couldn't care any less for Social Network. Wouldn't mind if it disappeared from existence. Not that I hate it. Its that I hate not feeling anything about something and that film tasted like grey.

I wont deny his talent. But I just felt nothing. For all of his technical ability if I cannot connect with it one some other level then its worthless to me as I'm not an aspiring director. Even if I was...

Japanese rock bands are generally very technically proficient. Filled with fantastic musicians that can play most anything. But its hollow. No depth. No soul. Thats as close as I can say I felt about that film.

I am enjoying Barbarians. I have a weakness for any Roman based tv show

They are though imagining the Germanic side of things because we have literally no idea what their side of the events was as all the sources are Roman perspective

Like with Spartacus tv show its weird watching a show where if they tell the story to completion it does not end too well for the protagonists
