Rise was a really good game, uncharted wins on story though which in those sort of games is more important to me. Uncharted 2 and 3 were great, especially leading into the last areas, Rise was probably slightly better in game play, but in those games the story is the difference.
Anyone have high hopes for the Uncharted movie? Or will it just be in the same vein as the Tomb Raider movies?

So the last film of the Indiana Jones prequel is the hunt for the Ashes of Nurhachi for Lao Che... and ends with his entrance into club Obi-Wan in 1935.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's this Stringer ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My idea for a prequel trilogy and this being the 3rd film.

Cool, you got a script?
No script, but the story is out there. Obviously there’s a back story between Indy and Lao Che...
i’ll Find it, bear with me... I know it’s something to do with the waiter that’s Indy’s friend, and that leads to Indy going after that artefact they exchange in Temple of Doom,

Didn’t know there was one. Probably a bit to close to Indy really. At best an enjoyable adventure is what we can hope for
Here you go Superb..
Indiana Jones' first run-in with Lao was in 1933 at the Lotus Eaters, when Jones discovered that the gangster had, in essence, enslaved Indy's friend Wu Han by holding captive the remains of the young scholar's family. Jones managed to surreptitiously steal the remains from under Lao's nose, thereby gaining Wu Han's freedom. When Lao Che became aware of the ruse, he sent assassins after Jones but they were defeated the next day on board a train out of Shanghai.
A Manchurian government official hired Lao Che to secure the ashes of Nurhachi, the first emperor of the Manchu Dynasty, which had been stolen by thieves in 1903.
In turn, Lao commissioned Indiana Jones in 1935 to recover the remains of Nurhachi in exchange for the diamond known as the Eye of the Peacock. Lao sent Kao Kan to steal the urn, but Jones caught him, and Kao Kan's left hand was wounded in the process. The next day, Lao met with Jones at Club Obi Wan to complete the trade as originally planned: Nurhachi's ashes for the diamond.

I actually liked the story in Rise quite a bit. Shadow is a bit meh though on that front.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not a bad story by any means, it’s quite a good one,,just wasn’t as captivating as the first 3 uncharted’s.
It’s still a very very enjoyable ride though. I guess the mythos of places like shangri la in the uncharteds won some extra points for me. Gameplay wise rise was probably superior, very polished effort.,
Believe it might be the same developer that made one of my favourite games, soul reaver: legacy of kane on the ps2, that game really dosen’t get the plaudits it should. Would love a reboot/sequel or remake of that..

I thought Universal were onto something with their Dark Universe. Cruise.Depp.Bardem.Crowe all posed for a cool photo shoot.
Died a death, they should’ve carried on...

There was no coming back after the monstrosity of a film they called Mummy. One of the worst films I've ever seen.
Ever.
Cheers Stringer. So these prequel stories are all out there then. Didn't know about them in truth.
The first tomb raider reboot game was just a carbon copy of uncharted I found, and I wasn't that big a fan of uncharted. The story was good though.
The second TR reboot game was better because it had more exploration segments, but didn't really have enough puzzles to make me intrigued for the third though. Found the story a bit boring too.

A quiet place II - 7/10
About as good as the first. Would have given an 8, but I don't like jump scares I appreciated the fact the first film didn't have many.
Would like to say a bit more, but worried about spoilers

I wonder about you rtm. Sure the mummy was bad, but I will make a allowances for entertaining, which is why I think not all marvel films are shiiit. But you seem to be a hard man to impress, unless it’s an odd niche indie movie.
You seem a bit contrasted

That Mummy film was tripe and it was super presumptuous to announce a universe before making one decent film
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Input it on 90% of marvel output. Shiiit and daft, but entertaining enough to pass a couple of hours when nothing better is on.
Is this the mummy remake as opposed to the Fraser one? I thought the original was fun and the rollercoaster at universal always has short queues despite being a lot of fun

By no means a masterpiece, but actually was better than Alien 3 or Prometeheus and Covenant. Although those aren't low bars.
First two are masterpieces though.

The Fraser version is a fun movie - it has characters that enjoyable, some good scares, and can be enjoyed on a theme park level.
The Tom Cruise one succccccked.
I can't enjoy or find movies like that entertaining, I can't switch my brain off when it is telling me with every second it is on screen what a hot steaming pile of garbage it is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And had The Rock as a half scorpion, what is there to not enjoy?!
I haven't seen the Cruise ones but can imagine they're very bad.
I'm the opposite, I find life to be a slog and being able to switch off for a couple of hours a week and watch some fun drivel with a couple of drinks is good for my mental health
Although obviously there is a line. Some films are so bad they cross that
