Imagine if Chris mentioned her acting in The Matrix 4…
Ambulance would be needed.

Think I need an ambulance just from being reminded of that film!
Innit. Chris dodged a bullet there…maybe not a slap. But bring that film up and I’m sure a riot would've broke out.
What a peculiar event. Will simp should be living the life of a mandinka god but he chose misery , to be G. I . Jane's white Knight, a woman that doesnt even keep monogamous or respectful to him , this is a lesson of what not to do.To you guys that think that is fake dont undereatimate Will's lack of self respect.

I don't even like Will Smith...far too up himself for my liking...but the slap was warranted
Btw, I might have said this already, But HBO’s Winning Time, is bloody awesome.
John C Riley’s performance alone. Check it out
But yeh, fav show on TV at the moment.

It’s about the LA Lakers start of their dynasty in 1979 when they signed Magic Johnson.
John C Riley plays the new owner crashing onto the scene, to turn NBA into a popular sport.
He’s brilliant, in fact the whole cast is brilliant.
It’s shot on film and video to represent the time, and it looks amazing. Has brilliant dialog.
Obviously they embellish things for drama, but I’m finding it a lot of fun.
It’s very adult too, being HBO. But with the music of the times, this is one very cool show.
Out of interest has anyone actually seen Coda?
Coda Kai - when is season 5?
Wasn't Will Smith laughing at the joke at first when Chris Rock said it?
Seems weird you can hit someone and go on a foul mouthed rant on a live event being shown all across the world and then be allowed to collect an award afterwards.
Not sure where the security for the event was either when it happened. Presumably they don't have any I guess.

Yeah it's funny you get these weirdos who think that a slap for a joke by a comedian is a fair trade off
Personally I just see it as an unhealthy relationship where he's so under the thumb his mental health is suffering as a result, shown by the laugh then the slap

Not only that but the audience then gave him a standing ovation. Fck off
They’re so disconnected from reality
It’s bizarre. In no way is Smith justified to react like that.
There is something deeper going on for sure.
But some of the quotes I’ve seen, defending him. I get it, people cannot be saying Chris deserved that.
It was a crap joke, but come on, and it’s bizarre, how he slapped Chris, sat back down, close ups again of him enjoying himself, then winning the Oscar, and getting a standing ovation.
Bizarre.
Yeah. If I reacted like that to a joke about my partner I think she'd be re-evaluating our relationship tbh. She'd be so embarrassed about my behaviour and it would do her no good because it just heightens the amount of attention the joke gets.
And yet something he's talking utter drivel on the stage after and getting applauded.
It was entertaining but it's a good reminder of how vapid, awful and out of touch most of Hollywood really is.
Yeah the whole thing is disconnected from reality and bizarre. But that's Hollyweird for you, a place that's only getting weirder.
Smith was talking utter nonsense afterwards as well, I wasn't able to watch it all as it was too unwatchable but he appeared to be having some kind of mental breakdown from what I could gather.
Can’t bring myself to watch it either. Just cringe.
Amazing, that he ruined the biggest moment in his career. But then imagine, if security did eject Smith straight after… then he still wins Best Actor?!
‘Um, Will couldn’t ,are it tonight, but here in his honour, Chris Rock!’
