First point of contention...

Is Jon Snow a targaryen? He burnt his hand in season one so may not quite be a dragon.

Everyone dies. George RR Martin ridesnthe dragons and kill everybody.

Targaryen's can be burnt, Aerion Targaryen died by drinking wildfire and obviously Visereys got "crowned". GRRM said that Dany's thing was a miracle and not all Targaryen's are impervious to heat/fire...

R+L=J seems a pretty likely, but I'm not sure it really solves anything (probably makes it worse considering Robert's rebellion started because of it/still a bastirt/stops Dany's claim to the throne) there must be more to it. Seems like it would cause more problems than it'd solve.

I may be wrong but isn't Jon Snow killed at the end of the last book - or at least seems to be? Not that this means anything for the tv series, cause winter still hasn't arrived in the books and Sansa is still a virgin.

I don't think Jon dies. Probably massively wounded. Wonder who'll do it this series? Pointing towards Ollie.

Bitton

Perhaps. Baelish is probably the one who knows the secret.

Apart from that JS is a badass.
*SPOILER*

I hope they don't follow the books and kill him. The shows creators have already said that there will be a LOT of differences in next season as far as deaths go.

On the Jon Snow thing, I can see him dying, but he'll get resurrected by Melisandre when she somehow manages to sacrifice Shireen. She'll be trying to save stannis the mannis but Jon snow will be chosen instead.

Also on the winter thing, it only technically becomes winter in the epilogue of the last book when (spoilers) Varys kills Pycelle and kevan lannister, it is all pretty much caught up now.

I think in episode 9 Shireen might die.

Jon Snow is the legendary warrior that Melisandre has convinced Stannis into believing he is.

Not sure what he was called but when he held a sword it warmed up a room or something of that nature.

Also, when are they going to reveal the Targaryen Varys has been hiding?

Also Ser Jorah was not infected by grayscale and where the hell is the golden company.

I was really put out with the Sansa scene. No need for it

Mudd, the guy Varys is hiding isn't a real targaryen imo. There's talk that guy is actually in Dorne in this season and is the one going to marry Myrcella.

All very confusing.

The fact the the tv show had jumped ahead of the books makes it hard to tell what really happen

I missed the late night showing of the last episode and someone had done a thread so how epic the last 20 mins were. Got excited and was let down.

GoT has lost some of its spark for me.

I get the feeling the Drogon scenes will be epic in the next couple of seasons

Jon Snow will get stabbed in episode 10 by members of the nights watch leaving the show on a cliff (wall) hanger.

But I can see him dying and then getting resurrected by melisandre. OR they will try to burn his body upon his death and he wont burn since he is a Targaryan (see Danarys when she hatched the eggs)

Imagine if he was Lady Stoneheart. As in the TV version.

It's pretty obvious what's gonna happen. That bunch of fire worshippers that keep resurrecting dead characters will resurrect him but his death will have voided his oath to remain as part of the night watch until death. Thereafter he will be free to ride south and avenge the Starks.

Also is it true that the series has gone off on a tangent and that Tyrion has already met Daenarys but hasn't met the Targaryen boy?

I haven't bothered to read the posts on this thread but wanted to ask a question.

Having not seen any of the series (or read the books) I'm wondering if there's anywhere I can watch/stream from the beginning, preferably legally

I have access to Sky Go through my dad's account but I don't think they have every season on there.

Cheers!
