There will be free to air CL games (same number as this season I believe) including the final.

(not 100% sure, so don't sue me if I am wrong )

Interesting to see who BT use to host/commentate CL games. Hopefully it will mirror their superior European league coverage rather than the poor PL showings.

Really? I'm sure I read Saturday's final was ITV's last live game, they only have highlights package next season. BT will show all European games, including the Europa League.

Sorry, to clarify, BT will show Free to view games each week including both European finals.

I've got BT Sport and Sky at home so CL football won't affect me, I just hate the set up on BT and the god awful pundits.

Think they have guaranteed each English team will have at least one free to view game each season (which is all you got with ITV, I believe)

posted on 8/6/15

Is that right? So will they show half free and half paid a bit like how ITV and Sky had it?

Can't see anywhere that says they will show some free. Currently you have to have a BY broadband account to watch their sports channels free. The only thing I can find is saying you would have to pay an extra £5 a month for the CL games.

ITV had more than that, they basically had first choice on Tuesday games. Every other game was on Sky.

So that would be 6 CL games minimum for the 4 English sides but with teams usually reaching the quarters that would be an extra 4 games.

Cheers, still sounds a bit vague but as long as there's 1 game free every week that's fine.

"It also announced it will show a selection of these new matches for free on BT Sport, even to homes that have not signed up to the channels.

The finals of each tournament will be showcased in this fashion along with a selection of top matches from earlier rounds. Fans will also be delighted to know that each participating British team will feature for free at least once each season."

ITV could only guarantee one appearance per team, as you cannot guarantee progression. Thus the 6 games split between 4 teams means two teams can only be guaranteed one game.

Either way, it is bad for us.
How long before a third provider comes in, and you have to have 3 subscriptions?

My prediction is that SE85 will demand that we buy up the top performing talent from the tournament. Get scouting Louis.

I don't have Xbox
Will probably watch on Live Media Player, but I will look at my shift plan and see if it is worth paying £12 to watch it on Premier Sports.
