why would rvp make a step down

I can't see van Persie leaving Arsenal right now, but if their performances are very poor on the run in to January, and they don't buy players before September, and Liverpool play some very good football, and are high up the table, I could see him been swayed by a high bid with high wage.

RVP like Nasri and most Arsenal players will never join MU. So who knows? If Arsenal's problems are not resolved and they don't sign some decent players then RVP could leave Arsenal by January. He already reflected about they need new players or they could get in troubles. Nasri left because he couldn't see any new players coming.

He may well leave. But why would he join an average club like liverpool

Mata
Van Persie will not join a club like Chelsea. That will be a step down. Arsenal are London's best and most successful team.

Why Chelsea are struggling to score goals despite their summer spree and despite signing mainly forward players.

Mata + Torres

I didnt say they wouldnt be, but if they dont sign anyone this transfer window, they could struggle. If they do, and if liverpool play well until January then he might. Big ifs however, and tbh I can't see it happening.

Mata+Torres ..
Mata could have joined Barca or Real to win trophies in Spain but he joined Chelsea just for the extra money.

Why did Mata join an average side like Chelsea? The most boring club in the league.

Mata is so deluded its unreal if you believe that mata went for success and not money then you may aswell believe nasri and heck even CLICHY.
