lol book the day ..... a day !! hell no saving up those holidays already !! 1 week off minimum!! I aint much of a PC gamer but im seriously considirin gettin this for PC (and a decent PC to run it) after see-ing all the mods available for previous fallouts and Skyrim it is so much better value for money on PC(night and day).
There seems to be a bit of grief online for the graphics been shown as not up to scratch... For me i was actually quite pleased about that. That tells me that they are going for gamplay and content. Want the greatest graphics then go get the Order or watch a film. Previous fallouts were never top notch visually but was never the reason folk fell in love with it.
Morrowind and Fallout 3 are the two best titles Bethseda have done IMO and neither were a graphical masterpiece they were all about content.

Kenny you wont need to play the previous ones ... they have nothing to with one another other than being on the same world at roughly the saem time... stories do not relate to one another. What i would say is DAAAAMMMMNNN go and play that Fallout 3 for me was the greatest game on the PS3 hell even new vegas was damn good.Id put fallout 3 right up there in my top 10 games of all time of all genre's. Yup THAT good. I didnt play it when it just came out (prob a good 6/8 months after release) about an hour after my first play thro' i felt like slapping myself really really hard! Just look at how many "post apocolyptic world" games then followed it says it all. Seriously go and play em. fallout 3 story is awesome and holds up right to the end (not many RPGS) give u that same satisfaction to the ending 9/10 it its underwhelming and doesnt reflect the time and effort you spent in it... yes im talking to you Skyrim lol !!

If you a average PC bud it could run it and it is better on the PC the mods out there for it will treble the game times spent played (I have over 90+ hrs in my fallout 3 game) and that is without mods (PS3 version). It will be pennies on the PC now.
ps i picked up new vegas outta sainsburys for the PC for only £4 in one of the bargain bins....i havent even played it just seen it there for 4 quid and picked it up !!

I don't have a pc. I only have a laptop, and while it is only one year old I doubt it could cope with the demands of the game without a decent graphics card.
Yeh Kenny can only echo what delboy is saying, even re installed new Vegas on my work laptop and everything runs smoothly on high, hell Fallout worked on a nvidia 9600, and with steam Sumner sales up and running you can probably find both games for a tenner. Would also be a good barometer to whether you like the games as well.
And if I'm honest this could be the first time I spend the bucks on a special edition, though I'm concerned it might only work with apples Bethesda seem like apple fanbois

Its running an Intel i3 2348m
I think that it is HD3000. Will it be capable?
I suppose its worth a gamble considering you can pick the game up for pennies anyway.

Much better than Skyrim and Oblivion and on par with Morrowind (na Morrowind might edge it actually) as i said tho id out Fallout right up there with FF7, Deus Ex, Morrowind, Red Dead, last of us...yup thats the company its in with. If you like any type of PRG in any form im almost certain you will love it

You may not need to turn anything down as if you play with less than 1080 this also helps a lot, Think my laptop is 1300x900 or something. So low the resolution depending on the screen, so if you got 13-14" 720 would be more than enough. But test then turn things down off as needed, just remember to patch it - also grab a mouse, FP game with a control pad on a PC! Shame on you!! :P

I've been playing fallout 3.
It's good, but again as like skyrim, I'm struggling to really get sucked in... I absolutely adored FF7 but this isn't even in the same library let alone book!
I'm sticking with this though as I like it more than skyrim... Skyrim I didn't like at all!
